What exactly is the condition for Divine Retribution in ST battles.
Like if I enter a wave:
a) If I don't attack anything does DR still do damage?
b) If I attack a non-thrones stack does DR still do damage?
c) If I attack a different thrones stack and it perishes can the other throne do damage with DR?

From my experience with Thrones in Portal event, thrones does damage with DR even if none of the troops did any damage.
If used after thrones killed many stack it does many more damages (but in the spell book the damage was not visible).
Combined with vermin (to cast more than once), I saw that the damage goes up. |

I'm assuming the thrones are your enemy in the ST.
The damage for DR is based on how much your stack has killed. Even if you have killed nothing in the wave that the thrones arrive, and you've killed a lot of creatures in the previous waves, DR will have huge damage. However if you haven't killed anything (for example if you are in the first wave) the enemy throne's DR will be relatively low damage.

Yes, that is because the damage of DR depends on what creature is targeted, since the damage depends on the tier of the troop that is being attacked. |

In what scenario will a throne do DR.
If I enter a wave and wait will it do DR? |

Hard to predict AI behavior since it is often changed. But i think thrones will use DR only when they can't attack anything without losing their whole stack from retaliation. I think the current AI is programmed to avoid death. |

Pretty sure there was an ST from several months ago where thrones used melee attack and barely killed anything while it had full mana. |
