But unfortunately seems like it is not showing the original post... maybe a bug :O
Never heard of "fork of damage" though xD |
for randomr1:
did you check the link? there is nothing
so you just say max. damage and min damage? |
for LetonikII:
They were supposed to be a whole list of slang listed in the link of post 2 but:

so you just say max. damage and min damage?
Yeah I guess :P Also damage range is the difference of max and min dmg. |
"fork" of damage.
Not sure what this means :)
Maybe "damage range"?

Since the Slang thread is not accessible anymore, I think the best way to learn the slangs is to lurk event threads like:
https://www.lordswm.com/forum_messages.php?tid=2483458
You will learn most of the slangs there.
Or use Urban Dictionary. It has pretty much all the slangs used in English language.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/
Hope this helps! :) |
This may help too:

That topic relating to the game slang is horribly outdated ;) It contains references to all the old regions on the map, YL = yellow lake etc. as well as incorrect information regarding alt chars, restoring troops etc.
I have revised the original post and removed some of the dated references in it and added a couple of references (WG, CG, DD for Dark demon etc). It seems a very clunky attempt at explaining some of the terms, but I will try to get it posted at the end of that topic as some new players may find it slightly useful.
In general though, the post is not that great. I will work to clear some of those stickied posts as most of them are outdated and irrelavent.
In so far as the original question; I am not sure what you mean by "fork" of damage, I can only assume you mean damage spread or damage range . |
you mean damage spread or damage range
exactly. I was wondering whether you use any slang word for that or not. In russian there is a word which is translated like fork :)
I was translating an article to apply for a translator for english version of HWM daily, as i see it's traslated really awful. |
