| Can anyone tell me the cheapest shop arts for 29AP (for the time portal)? I searched a bit and found a angels and demons link (http://angelsndemons.freeforums.org/4-artifacts-cheapest-ap-sets-for-each-level-t100.html) but that is only up 11AP. Couldn't find anything for 29AP anywhere! Thanking you in advance :) |
1) ask in Q&H next time
2) Cheapest arts set for min-ap, however there will be no link for cheapest arts for specific AP (like you say 29)
3) You can replace cheap one (such as ring of thorn instead of ring of whatever higher)
4) During event, Even cheapest arts become expensive even as close as the other one. |

Its useful but to find out the cheapest set i would still have to try a lot of combinations plus it doesnt give the sum of AP so i would still need to check from the artifact shop.
Perhaps you have some research you have done that you could share?

You first have to decide how cheap are you willing to go and how many parameters you are willing to sacrifice.
If just full ap is your motive then pick the first item from every section of artifact shop and you're good to go :p

Choose suitable art from each section according to CPB and parameters, optimize your set, go back to your set and see if you can make some changes to get a better deal.
At CL 8 I use,
1 SoM
2 Ring of Ambition
1 Steel Helmet
1 Steel Cuirass
1 Steel Boots
1 Lucky Horseshoe
1 Maskrobe/Cape of Magical Power (depends on faction I am playing)
1 Dragon Shield
CPB: 722.4 gold
I replaced 2 ring of abdication, 1 Pendant of despair, 1 Longbow.
If you take these arts then CPB is 984.4 gold.
I lose +12% initiative, extra 10% ranged damage.
I gain +1 attack, +1 defense, +1 Luck, +2 SP/Decrease range damage by 12%

I find this set optimal as per my requirements. Even though 12% initiative is a lot, I don't feel it since I am mainly doing WG and not PvP. And I balance some of the lost initiative with TG bonus.
If you want to do PvP, don't compromise your stats for cheaper CPB since it will reduce your chances of winning. |

just keep in mind that once you selected all the cheapest (for your CL), if you do not reach the minimum AP required you will need to experiment with the next best, and since this is "fill a bag problem with discrete quantities" the best solution might not be the next item with slightly higher cost per AP and AP value. |
| You can use shield of glory instead of dragon shield- alomst 2x cheaper, medal of bravery. Others are in need to score high |

Based on my own research, the cheapest i could find is
Staff of youth - Weapon - 101.3 pb
Wizard Helmet - Head - 69 pb
Lucky Horseshoe - Neck - 119 pb
Light mithril cuirass - Armor - 132 pb
Galoshes of battle - Foot - 30.85 pb
Defender Shield - Shield - 29.75 pb
Total cost is 444 pb
However this doesnt take into account the stats you get from these weapons just the most AP per cost (which is what i wanted for the event :D)
Also, all of these prices are from artifact shop and i havent searched for cheaper alternatives based on arts you cant buy from the shop.
