AuthorCL 13 Holy Knight or Regular Knight?
For PVP purposes which one is stronger?

Any thoughts on the pros and cons of each?
I'd say Holy Knight, because the classic Knight gets strong when he gets the Clerics, at CL 14.

Btw I advice you to work on Guilds (Like Wg), and get 2-3 FSL in all Factions, if your intention is to play CG for a while.
DU or not DU? CG or not CG? If CG your ally will be your level, lower or higher?
holy knight with holy build for CG.
Holy knight are much better for CG.
If you have a high level partner, then it helps him too..
I think at Christmastime, you have to go with Holy Knight.

(What?)
if have a lvl 14-15 might partner, I would prefer classic knight with full fervor build. else, holy is better..
Thank you for the feedback.

I mainly play group battles (rather than CG) with people my level. I'm not opposed to CG but I just don't have money for it yet.

How would a holy knight with holy build fare against a chaos wizard or DE?

Not so good especially in 1v1. In group battles too, mages and dark casters are bad news. However, if you have a higher level player teamed up with you then they will appreciate your buffs regardless (as a level 13 in CG, the chances of this happening are pretty good).

I used to play GBs a lot like you, but realized they actually:
- Are pretty Imbalanced (Because of AP)
- Are "Anti-Fun", due to the previous reason
- Destroy your Character Development, since GBs give you no Guild Points, and the Ratios are terrible.

I know its kind of hard to make money, but Imo GBs shouldnt be an option from CL 11-12 onwards.

Regarding the Chaos issue:
- A Chaos DE would just kill 70 Wardens per turn (More than 500 Damages/Lightnign I think), and Witches would Delay everybody else, they would just sit, AFK, and throw Magicks at you.
- A Wizard would Cast endless waves of Fireballs with Lorekeppers and Magicks with their Hero, and the Genies would disturb/bother your Wardens with their ability.
Also Charmers are good against HK I think, I dont play Knight so IDK. :P

In this case, I would suggest holy knight as everyone else suggested.

IMO, you could look for a more efficient set of talents.
For starters, since you're a holy caster and you'll be busy casting holy on yourself and your allies, you won't need prayer, and sorcery won't affect your mass atb. So you can get 14 talent points from there.

Further more if you decide to stay with 2 masteries instead of 3, you would have a total of 20 free talent points. That would be enough to get either advanced leadership, or adv defense or basic leadershio + rally. Those passives would definitely benefit you a lot more.

However choosing 2 masteries could be pretty tricky. First off this is a totally personal choose.
I think you cannot go wrong with either dom of renunciation nor wrath, however dom of bless is a kinda must have to cast on yourself, mainly if you're gonna fight people at same CL and you don't have anybody to cast on you.

I think Dom of wrath + bless (get renunciation, if you've someone to cast bless on you.) would get yourself pretty nice and sweet. Remember that you'll have to cast holies on yourself and then on your allies, not necessarly on this order. Once you get the exorcist at CL 12, you could think about trading dom of wrath for dom of renunciation or you can simply keep all the 3 dominions even though it takes some time to cast everything on yourself plus allies, while you could have some sweet passives that will have a big impact on the battlefield. Anyways, up to you, however prayer and sorcery could definitely give space for something else.

Nice catch, he has them and dont really need them.

In addittion to what has been said:
I've seen many HKs and DDs pick Avoidance, since the archers or both get shot most of the times very hard before getting the chance to do anything.
And of course, Resistance is another option, since HKs generally die to Chaoses.
Yes I was noticing that inefficiency with prayer and sorcery too.

And yes as someone who plays group battles a lot I know more than I want to how frustrating it is to play with imbalances. I'll play CG the moment I get a full set.
