http://daily.heroeswm.ru/newscom.php?i=policy_history | Great article, interesting to read a Russian perspective on the changes in the social system. I remember there was a period of time when the Russians who supported Merallisa came on to the English forums and would troll "slava Merallisa" i.e glory to Merallisa. I think we have had our own share of polarising moderators over the years ;)
I don't see the game democratising much further. I remember that players used to request that we vote democratically for moderators, keepers, sages etc. quite frequently, but I don't see that happening beyond the current voting for the Appeals Commission.
The idea of market control is interesting. Forcing resource shortages, changing player inventory spaces and increasing market lots and size could make for a different game shift completely. I think it would have been nice to allow MCs to have a degree of control over the facilities they run or to implement a dynamic wage/resource system of labour.
Thanks for the article. A few of the words are a little hard to understand and some of the concepts may be confusing to English players, but overall I enjoyed it :) | Thanks for sharing it | ouch, too hard to understand...
but good article | for Corey:
When you don't know political termins and aspects, it's also hard to translate :D
Try to convey author's originality | This was a really good read, thank you. :) |
