Armies started to get pretty intense during the end. Tomorrow I'll be looking for rogues, convert them to termagants; convert the brawlers to zerks; get more bowmen and convert them to wardens. Keeping a stack to 10-20 skel legionaries around the shooters should help too.
Try to have at least 1 stack that can cast spells. I've seen people using shamans but genies have worked well so far for me.
Currently I'm ranked around 400 but I know I'm going in the right direction and if I can minimize any losses and keep slaying larger enemies, I'll break into the top 100. |
So am I the only one where the countdown of the search does not count down and I have to press reload to see it finished?
Also whether I press weak or strong does not seem to make much difference, most of the times I get stronger opponents when pressing weak then I get at strong. Very odd event. |

Looks like the cost of upgrade variates per unit amount, when I had 25 demons the cost to upgrade it to incendiaries was 800 silver, now that I have 75 of them upgrade went up to 2400 silver, meaning it costs 32 silver per unit, fiends cost even more than tripple of that, it's 99 silver per unit.
Is the cost of upgrade per unit for everyone the same or does it vary according to your combat level?
The creatures I got so far and their upgrade costs per one unit:
bowman to crossbowman 68 silver, to warden 116 silver
swordsmen to guardians 211 silver, to crusaders 108 silver
griffins to royal griffins 193 silver, to wild griffins 248 silver
golems to modern golems 98 silver, to lodestone golems 67 silver
demons to incendiaries 32 silver, to fiends 99 silver
dark witches to dark sybels 304, to shadow mistresses 419 silver |

I would recommend trying to find high tier troops, their higher hp means you can tend to maintain a complete stack.
I found 5 cave demons, upgraded them straight to abyss demons and they are really quite useful. Currently looking for more shooters so I can gain dominance on that (will only fight the battles where I will gain the shooting advantage) |

Just found 3 devils in my 12th fight - thought, I will just check out how much silver I need to save and blow me down it only cost 345 silver to upgrade to antichrists, I thought I will have that!
Cannot wait till midnight server time to check them out! |
| It is best when the creature is in a cage, othwerwise it dies out fast due to it not getting the parameters from your hero. Also you don't need to break the cage during the battle, they join after anyway. |
