I am happy to concede with regard to tournament battles in PvP. Here the success rate will be the prime deciding factor, one loss makes all the difference in those settings. As the stakes become less (decending down events, CG, PvE )other factors become more dominant, such as practicality of which average battle time is one, play a larger role. It is more in that setting where I feel the slow battle time as an influence becomes significant in peoples decision to play UN or not.
In WG for example since you are fighting battles won by peers, no matter what faction or sub faction you have one should have a similar win rate. I would be interested if in this setting the quicker of the various sub factions tends to dominate. I can only speak directly from my decision making process where I know it factors in quite heavily, others may differ significantly. |
