Yes, I should have been waiting for the tribal to accumulate spirit, full rapid/delay and tank 75% damage with spirit instead of attacking when it had 0.

I would expect UN to be weak in a mixed tourny. They have no real shooter so are forced to advance, but have no troops to cast confusion and allow that advance (like TDE does).
There damage output only works over a long period of time due to raising. However in a group match they will just not bother to kill any of you and kill the rest of your team. Since you cannot reach so quick etc, then your effecitveness in the early game is limited. Therefore usually the opposition will gain the advantage. In the late game they are likely to then have more stacks and to just stand on your dead troops more easily.
All in all I think classic necro is likely to be more flexible and a better choice. (I may be biased from having been in a battle with an UN where we woul dhave had a much better chance with a classic). |

| Yeah I think if you are the highest level, then you will do sufficient damage and they will just not be able to kill you in a hurry. Put at level 10, not gonna happen, you will just get ignored till everyone else is dead, then squished. |

here is an example of myself:
we know that traditional dark demon(max temptress,full defence,full darkness) dominate over traditional might factions, yet(in high level) stand no chance against magic de, perform badly against alt elf and alt wiz. thus i changed the build to faster, more offensive way, which give me better chance against those casters at the cost of reducing winning rate against might factions. therefore, i have better overall winning rate compare with other dark demons in the same level who uses traditional builds, especially in the complex environment of mixed battles.
the same idea works for tribal, when you go full defence, make enemy dwarf/barbarian/knight/etc. stand no chance against you, why should you stand a chance against alt wiz or magic de? if you want to be more average against the whole environment, try to take tactic and be a bit more offensive, it won't 100% save you from dof, but far better than before, at the cost of some reduction of stability against traditional might factions. |
