Author | Best ways to save up for TGI? |
Currently,
I enroll 5-10 times a day, sometimes more
Hunt a similar number, sometimes more
Merc a similar number too, and again, sometimes more :P
The occasional Min Arts PvP once a few days
Have a full art set but don't use it,like, ever.
I have no idea where but on the forums I read that as you level up getting gold becomes easier, I'd like to know how, or, even if it doesn't , what is the best way to save up for TGI? (Want to be in it before level 10 wishfully, if that's possible)
(PS. I broke my "no real money in games" vow,but alas, my payment got rejected for security reasons from PayPal (have no idea what that means really :P) and other options don't support my bank,so diamonds are not really an option)
So,the evergreen question again : How best to gather gold for a TGI :D
Thanks | Enroll more, do less group battles. | Enroll
High gold hunts
Maybe some merc guild for elements
Fliping items(merching) | Other than hard part, i.e Enrolling there are several other ways
1) Do good in Events.
Have a pre-set partner, play with proper arts. Doing good in events can earn you loads of profit, and if you can make it to top100 or less, then you can get TGI from that event's reward itself.
Events are very frequently, it is recommended to play all. If played properly, one can never go to loss as far as gold spent is concerned.
Also, events give good fsp/exp ratio, so its a win-win situation.
2) Do more MG Quests
Buy an ABC or mount, yes it will require pre-investment, but if you are active enough you can recover more by selling MG elements.
If you are patient enough, then can skip taking mounts.
3) Survival Tournaments
However this isn't the easy method, you do need to have certain experience and set of skills like ATB management, Troops shifts etc.
But if mastered, it can guarantee you many profits and easy income. And its weekly too.
( Its my main source of income btw )
4) VERY RISKY, luck dependent
You could invest in some arts and can sell them later for profits.
Like buying event's art early and selling later for a slightly higher price.
However prices may go down too, so its a risky, and not recommended as well.
For example, you could see, how last event's art mirror had taken price up. Same was the case when Gladiator Axe was given.
So basically you have to analyze whether this artifact is good enough to sell later or not.
Such players are called 'Traders' , and I can give you a couple of examples too, where players got over 500k+ profit by buying and selling from the last event.
5) WGs and Campaigns
You can do WGs in even mid ap ( i,e exact amount of AP which is required ).
I used to do in mid ap, I still do, and even if you get 1 star you get gold which pretty much covers the cost.
You can try campaigns as well, if you get lucky with license drops you can sell them from ~40k per piece.
I have seen many people getting licenses from almost all campaigns completed, some even getting 2 licenses from the same quest.
But I got license only 2 times from 16 campaigns total completed, hence it is luck dependent too.
But best method will be to Enroll as much as you can, you can install any Flash supporting browsers in your mobile ( i,e Puffin or Dolphin ) and can enroll whenever you are free. | I have no idea where but on the forums I read that as you level up getting gold becomes easier, I'd like to know how, or, even if it doesn't , what is the best way to save up for TGI? It does get easier. Look, I just leveled up and received 300k gold and lots of ressources. Also if you don't rush levels your LG will increase your income faster than the price of arts will rise.
On the other hand you will want more fancy stuff like more than one castle,... so the expenses can grow very quickly too. If you stick it to the bare minimum, then gold management should be easy though. | Also - when enrolling, try to enroll at the highest base gold possible, at LG 4 you have a 1.6 multiplier,
For 170 place, that means 272 gold per enroll
At a 210 place, that means 336 gold per enroll
That's nearly 25% more gold. | Fliping items(merching)
I checked that for some stuff like Amulet of Luck but doesn't seem particularly doable to be honest
Doing good in events can earn you loads of profit
Sorry, I've been away from the game a long time and last time I played events were an extremely rare occurence , but roughly speaking, approximately how well do I need to do in them to break even in terms of money spent and recovered?
Are we talking about the achievement sort of thing that we get and can sell or gold for participation or whatever, sorry again ,real noob here :P
If you are patient enough, then can skip taking mounts.
Doing that already,thanks :D
3) Survival Tournaments
I suck at them xD
not recommended as well.
As you say,boss! xD

Will try that today, thanks :DYou can try campaigns as well, if you get lucky with license drops you can sell them from ~40k per piece.

Yes,but you're at a much higher level,thanks anyways

Looking to do that
fancy stuff like more than one castle
Nahh, after TGI, thanks though.
Also - when enrolling, try to enroll at the highest base gold possible
Doing, thanks :D | Sorry, I've been away from the game a long time and last time I played events were an extremely rare occurence , but roughly speaking, approximately how well do I need to do in them to break even in terms of money spent and recovered?

I see,
After merge... events are not rare occurrence anymore ;) can get atleast once in couple of months.
First try to complete all battles, infact try to win all battles, you would need good arts for that like 'Ring of Colds' or other donation arts. You could rent it from renters.
After an event you will get art whose durability depends on how good you did in event, hence better you did = better dura = more gold
I have made ~800k gold from last 2 events which I played here.
So if played properly, you can make lots of profit.
PS - Dont judge me from my current gold, I have invested them somewhere else :D just saying because apparently, some players here have bad habit of doing that. | After an event you will get art
Everybody who participates in them does get them?
PS. Thanks for the WG and Campaign suggestion, made my gameplay much more fun, although campaigns are not something I expect to be very successful at, WG seems fun
Thanks again :D | Everybody who participates in them does get them?
Yes.
Usually if you win 2-3 battles, you get art.
However to ensure good income you have to play all available tries, that too with good score. Otherwise outcome can just cover your gold spent ( no profits ), or in some cases you might not get what you spent. | Could doing just about 5 battles (to get the art) ,get you an art which would cover the cost of a,say,400-600 gold per battle set? | Here's what I did.
Only enroll for about 2-3 months and play a hunt/MG for workaholic penalty while averaging 12-13 enrolls per day. | Only enroll for about 2-3 months and play a hunt/MG for workaholic penalty while averaging 12-13 enrolls per day.
Worth a thought but would be pretty boring for me,but I could for that as well I guess,it is 500,000 gold.
If I hunt\merc I will level up too meaning I will need to spend on upgrades (on level 10 next),but apart from that is there any major downfall?
PS. Not going for a TGI at all is also an option for me, should I be considering that (if gathering the gold is too boring/bothersome I probably would :P) ? xD
Suggestions welcome :D | Only enroll for about 2-3 months and play a hunt/MG for workaholic penalty while averaging 12-13 enrolls per day.
Agree.
Do less battles, ideal will be 1/10 which means i battle when workaholic hits after 10 enrolls and even better if you choose a battle that gives you the lowest exp.
This is indeed boring for some(I did it till hit LG8 and never had financial problems), but it doesn't take more time than the other ways they told you just with one detail, it's a sure way to make money.
There's no "If I do good at event" or even "If I have money to play at the event and maybe I'll do good" or anything else. | if you are student get a part time job then buy TGI with diamond. better than enrolling every single hour for 1 year. | Do less battles, ideal will be 1/10 which means i battle when workaholic hits after 10 enrolls and even better if you choose a battle that gives you the lowest exp.
This is the way I will be going then I suppose :D
This is indeed boring for some
It would be, I guess my alts would be much more active for the next few months now xD
Thanks
Last question : Is TG worth it? (I know varies from person to person but what I'm looking for is your view :D) | Last question : Is TG worth it? (I know varies from person to person but what I'm looking for is your view :D)
very worth. TG battles have good fsp/exp ratio.
they are also good to pass time. pick one busy road( capital to east river for example) and you will go into battle in a few minutes.
also TG is a very good investment. you get back your 500k when you reach tg5. when you get back the 500k, you can probably consider building full castle for a new faction | Last question : Is TG worth it? (I know varies from person to person but what I'm looking for is your view :D)
It does get boring like every other guild. It's not very important for knight. I wouldn't make too many sacrifices for that, it never hurts to have some fun from time to time. and having it at say level 10 rather than 8 won't make your character weaker IMO, you will just get the bonus a bit later. | for Lord spiral-doom:

Thanks,I get that and will definitely be doing TG at some point in the future, but what I meant was is it worth setting everything aside for about 6 months (did some math at 10 enrolls a day xD) or as slust said having it at say level 10 rather than 8 is that an issue?
for Slust:
Thanks :D
Sorry for colossal noob-ness,but,why It's not very important for knight (I'm guessing low ini to begin with so 1% bonus isn't all that much but still,I'd like to know what you meant ^_^') | TG is definitely worth it, but for initiative bonus and not for fsp/exp ratio.
Fsp/exp ratio from TG is worst as compared to other guilds, unless other guilds are already maxed out giving extremely difficult battles. ( which is clearly not on your case, generally from lvl 14+ or so ) |
