| No. Don't level it up. It will cost millions. |
Unless you level it up to become a smith and plan to offer your service for a profit, don't even try it.
Repairing items isn't worth it (in the sense that you are better off buying new ones instead) unless they are rare or enchanted (and even then only if you are a smith able to repair at 90%). If you need repairing, you don't need to be a smith yourself, you can use the services of an existing smith.
