| Hi, I've recently come back to this game and I haven't used any real money on this game yet. I've been looking through many threads and how people argue that getting TGI is "worth it" or not. I was wondering if I would be disadvantaged in any way by not levelling TG, apart from the ini difference which I think doesn't matter too much to a knight. Any thoughts would be appreciated. | not too much disadvantages now, because you have plenty of other guilds or events to play.

Because Knight creature ini are slow, I'm not competing to shoot first in a PvP (generally). Of course that could change in the future I guess | might not be on topic but why doesnt ini matter for a knight?
He will probably argue that knights most often move after everyone else anyways since their troops have low initiative.

Is it worth it? Heck yes, main reason is because a reward for lvl 5 of thieves is a TGI, which means you are getting your money back eventually. The Ini and thief items you get are a bonus, not to mention experiance, fsp and fun.
I myself am about to hit cl 15, as a reward for leveling up I will gain around 400k+ gold and no new constructions (besides diamond ones), which I will use to buy a tgi.
As for is it worth it? Well, I dont have a tgi and in this minor tourney my final score was 15 wins from 35 fights. + I dont have anti against some factions, that adds too, but you get the point. | The sooner, the better, honestly.
If you delay, like me, then you will mostly loose the shooting initiative against caravan and that will make it harder (and less fun). |
