so,i got my dragon, for the diamonds i got at army of cold battles, today i realized that means i can basically respond to any hunt assist at any place of the map because of the travel time,so i have been hunt assisting all day,and i noticed a problem.. you know usually in a hunt, assisted or not,you use auto when you see the win is obvious,if not to save ur own time, then maybe the assistants time.and well today i noticed that only 1/10 of the assists i do will press the auto button on their own. about 5/10 will press it after you have repeated a caps locked russian auto in the chat couple of times, and the rest 4/10 will never use auto, regardless of how slow is their connection, regardless of how ridiculous is the battle, and even if you ask them. any ideas why is that so? |
I perhaps auto a battle a bit later than perhaps I should sometimes, mostly when I know how the AI would respond and I don't like it (fortune genies will frequently cast luck instead of hitting something so conversely slow it down). Consequently I just try and play a bit faster when it is clear cut.
In hunt assists however it may be simply that they do not trust their partner, and so are more cautious. |
i have done only 2 serious assists today, everything else was more like hunts doable on a full set and talent change but easier to get an assist.. i understand all the possible problems with trust or the way AI behaves and i am ok with that, but what i have seen today i just ridiculous level and it has nothing to do with any of that |
you see there is that point in a battle when you think, common, there is basically no chance they can win, even if we just stands and do nothing but press wait.and even in most such situations,no auto |
Maybe the problem is with you and not people? I don't really have this problem (except maybe once or twice) when assisting with hunts.
Some people may not want to auto because they are worried that if they do, they will steal all the FSP / you will steal all the FSP. I don't press auto for this reason - if I see my shooters moves are coming up but my partner hasn't killed their fair share, I will defend instead of use auto so they can get FSP. |
well,i never even notice that,i just go for the kills, and when its obvious i press auto,i have no idea of how fsp stealing is happening,or how it is even distributed, all i see is that the one needing the assist always get less fsp and more exp |
Nobody has to press auto if they don't want to. I will admit it makes things easier for everyone, but there is a reason why it is meant to be voluntary. |
I think meshy is right I forgot about that with hunt assists when posting earlier.
Once you have killed half of the enemy you will gain no more FSP (when giving an assist). Therefore killing more than half will reduce the amount of troops for the person who called the hunt to kill, and consequently less FSP and HG points.
The polite thing therefore is to never kill more than half unless you have to in order to win. |
oh,just now i realized that.. |
Auto kills :)

Auto doesn't pop up for everyone automatically. I only see it on maybe 10 percent of my battles |
also consider one thing: this is a game. Some people just like to play it until the end. If you are not prepared to let them do so, perhaps you should not join their hunts.
Personally i never use the auto button, it spoils the game, from my point of view. |
