Can anyone tell me what AI had been thinking of?
Sry, i have to say it: This event su**s!
Applauds for the event. Its fun manageble

If the devs are up for some constructive comments here are some suggestions/bugs reports:

- There is something strange with the balancing of opponents - 'stronger' sometimes become easier and vise versa (maybe intended to include a random flavor to the picks, and if so totally fine by me)

- The event this time around seems one sided in favor of magic builds (those with raise dead in particular). Maybe you could continuously balance the troop prices depending on how many buys them.

- it may be intentional, but the enemy initiativ varies from normal to insane without any indications of this beforehand. You could add initiativ to the list of enemy stats

- I have observed errors in the enemy list of stats - e.g attacked a fury barb with +1 luck in the enemy overview page - but turned out he had +4 luck. Needless to say that made a huge difference.

- Lastly, I encountered an dark barb enemy who found it advantageous to move one of his cannons out of my firewall and I can't blame him - very nice move, maybe not totally by the book though O_o

@144
So that's how it got played, since the unit stacks are so low it was best to use raise dead to reraise your entire army near the end of the battle ending up with zero losses. Meanwhile I had played as fury barbarian to get the most of offensive etc talents.

wait... did i see that right... the cannon moved on its own.CHEATS

He had innate swiftness, gives +1 speed to all units. As a result the cannons have a move of 1.

While a bit of an exploit, all consistent with rules (unless of course if in the same situation we cannot do that)

I don't even play this type of event but i think this strat has been used plenty of times previously.
what'd you think those wheels were there for?!

To lug the cannot back into place after recoil has moved it (slightly) back.
That was the reason historically wheels where added to cannons, which didn't have them in their earlier versions.

Additionally they were used to move the cannons to the battlefield (on land with teems of horses usually) and to push them out of ship's side opening (on sea).

Cannon in fortification (with no need to go anywhere) still had wheels to realign the cannon after firing.
Otherwise you would have to wait for the enemy to get in the correct alignment with a cannot just to fire it with some chance to hit.
Well this was fun enough :)

I found I could move the cannons if I took the talent which increases speed by one.

should be more greedy, I underestimate pirate troops with 15% p.damage reduction
LoL kraby mine was opposite case got too greedy in some fights :P

And yeah i think this event is for risk takers for sure like RR :D
Finishing the event feels like a huge effort omg ...
20 battles to go yet.
excuse, but I did not find it fun, only for anti-skill FSL (my opinion)

Last day tomorrow, plenty of time
I found this event fun, but upto a certain limit.
During last days battles were taking much longer time to finish, and in between somehow I got bored to finish and ended with 3 defeats, 1 at each day, for last 3 days.
Overall event was fun for me, but i think 12 per day was slightly more.. especially for end days.
