Production of the basic elements drying up.

AuthorProduction of the basic elements drying up.
Except for ore and wood all the other basic elements are zero in all the mines besides the empire capital. I see people enrolling in all the mines but somehow it immediately gets bought up orso. Is someone stockpiling them or is there something else going on?
Demand is higher than offer, so when the shift ends, people buy the resources for personal use or to sell at market with profit.
A lot of people prefer to enrol at production instead of mining (especially easy during events) so supply of resources from there are lower.
most mc's have a system where they get members to buy from their mines and sell at a fixed rate in market..
there is a regulatory clan for it too...
heh i think they are testing the limits of this economy and how will the players cope, i like how its making the game more dynamic and resorce manipulation more meaningfull and impactfull
enroll your 2 multies to those mines.

careful, two .com clans players should enroll other ones mines since multi's are not allowed to enroll main clans locations ;)
?

There are more than 5 millions of each in stock (just in mines).

https://www.lordswm.com/ecostat.php
yes but they are in the capital mostly and bearly anyone is buying at that price because there is no profit involved for the individual
They are all in the capital like I mentioned, only wood and ore are available anywhere else. Just a few months ago I could by sulphur or other at other places as well, now it's only in capital available which is a bit over the cost. It is clearly being stockpiled, since I clearly see at market at prices ranging from 364 to 366, it is clearly from a bussiness point. Nobody wants to walk to the capital to pay 362 instead if they don't have a mount. And since the marketeers pay 1 gold in taxes for easch sale they only make 3-5 gold per basic element, but this seems to rank up over the day for a nice profit from the looks of it.
I wonder what would happen if they bought up all of capitals as well, then they could set even the price for it. It would be like all the artifacts emptying out during events with market prices 2-3k over it.
I wonder what would happen if they bought up all of capitals as well

I would be very scared if this happened...
And since the marketeers pay 1 gold in taxes for easch sale

Tax is 1% so for sulfur it would be 4 gold each (if each one is sold individually).

I wonder what would happen if they bought up all of capitals as well
Lol that won't happen, there are millions of resources in the capital (over 7 million sulfur for example). Do you realize how much gold would be needed to buy all that? :)

And then you would have to keep buying it every hour to make sure the facility stays empty.
Do you realize how much gold would be needed to buy all that?

Over 275 million. :)

I think one of the biggest reasons for the this lack of resource is as cyber said:

most mc's have a system where they get members to buy from their mines and sell at a fixed rate in market..

When a player buys resource from a (clan) mine, that mine will have more gold and will be able to have more people enrol there. As more people enrol there, the clan gets more money from that facility.

Yes, I know facilities already hold a lot of gold currently, but no harm (for the clan) in keeping it stocked up.
And since the marketeers pay 1 gold in taxes for easch sale they only make 3-5 gold per basic element,

most don't care about the profit they are just doing it for their mc...
if they get a small profit then great, but even if they are selling below market rate the mc will compensate them...
i used to do this last time....
less player which means less laborer, more activity(come from defense, wg, ag, and more events) which consume more artifacts hence more position in artifact facility, all these lead to nobody enrolling in the ordinary mines. this already happens from several years before, and till recent the storage of those mines were drained up. they can not get recovered unless admin change the economy manually.
enroll your 2 multies to those mines.

As far as I know, there is no restriction on where a character enrols. Is there any documentation for this?
Is there any documentation for this?

sorry cant show any. it was an info I heard years back.

there is no restriction for main chars ;)
there "may be" a restriction for secondary chars.

maybe a mod/sage can clarify subject ?
I thought the only forbidden thing was interaction like one account buying an artifact to let the other enroll.
I thought the only forbidden thing was interaction

To clarify, the only interdiction in this context of buying in a facility.
