Authorhow can I win this fight
I used the best gear possible 41 attack and I think 25 defense and still can't win
what to do ?!
btw I can't change faction in campaign
over 100 AP and still impossible to win

i'd say:

catapult is made to destroy enemy towers. You should use it for that, it will also weaken the defenses vs magic.

enemy troops are concentrating on yours, not the archers you are defending, apparently. so instead of killing the shooters fast (and get retaliation) you should concentrate at first on the other fast units, like wolves.

Maybe take a little less sharpshooters and a little more "meaty" units, to allow you to last longer. Keep some sharpshooters to give a target to opponent shooters.

Use magic to kill the mistresses. Don't shoot it.

When the wall goes down, the damage dampening reduces.

This kind of battle requires some endurange, it's not a battle you can win with speed. Try increasing your defense. (like get 40+ defense). Also use a cloak to get some ranged resistance. If you need extra attack, use an enchanted weapon.

Use your druids to cast some defense on the archers.

Then wait for opponent troops to come forward and kill them when they are this side of the wall.

I'm sure some other players have more ideas :)
i can't give you any advice on tactics or how to win with just what you have however :

- campaigns difficulty depends on the other players who finished the campaign, the better the characther the higher difficulty for everyone else (same CL and faction)

- i have the same problem but you have almost mo bonuses from your guilds, especially from thief/ranger. elves are glasscannon, if they can't hit hard the first few turns, they are basically dead. i know from experience, i have the same problem ^^
also looking at your battle you went forward with unicorns and allowed gated units to attack from back. You lost a round, and opponent wolves hit you first. Use your troops to kill gated units, and count on the high def to stand the shooting damage while you load up magic and bring down the walls. This way the oppoent will lose one round coming forward and be obliged to pass the door one by one.

The door will open automatically when a unit walk on it, so no need to pull it down right away. get the tower down first.

pirate gear will give you a very good ranged defense. I'd suggest you use cape and jacket + a good shield to really reduce that ranged damage.

thank you for all the informations and advice
I attacked mistresses first because in her turn I was afraid that she will 1 shot my archers
so if I didn't attacked her then the 1 tower will kill the other archers
and btw they have high defense and attack power
and charmer elves are limited in amount of troops so yeah it's hard
I would try:
- plunderer cloak (30% ranged resist) + shield or pirate set (for ranged resist)
- striving speed, you've got nothing better to do 1st turn
- dryads can fly over the wall
- better have 2 druids stack than extra 2 merc archers, you need stone to survive
Campaigns are hard, you need to choose when you reckon you will hit your peak of build and do them then (for any given faction).

Much of what GuyB says is sensible, particularly removing gated first.
In castle battles shooters are much less effective due to the wall, while flyers avoid that disadvantage. As such consider changing your recruit to bias more melee troops.

It may be that a defensive set up (or at least more equal stat balance with perhaps some dryads and mroe trees may do better at the expense of less druids and sharps - enough to take initial shooting, but result in them overkilling what you have)


The other is boosting stats as much as possible. Maxing armaments is useful, not sure how many you have, but try and do watchers and surv battles to get as many of these as either you donlt have many, or you have not activated many of them,

Elixirs from tournaments give a one day boost, this can also help make the difference. To me Campaign battles are optimally done in short bursts (plan to get them all done in a day with elixir active). Combining an elixir and armaments would likely give you something of the order of +3 attack, defence and initiative for each troop, which will help a lot.

simply echoing the above, it's all solid sound advice. Remember to move your brethren as much as possible when attacking, but keep your distance from too many units ganging up on you.

The best place to find a pirate set is on .ru, Google translate should be fairly reasonable at helping there.
