last time, I succeed 1 of the campaign fight, on level 3, with 6ap.
Does the campaign scale with level? because just now I had a harder time with 8ap equipment. or my strat is just that bad but still, until necro has bowmen, I'm limited to melee fight. |
Do it at low level as possible :)

| Keep in mind that campaign is intended to be played with minimum full set and preferably with non shop artifacts (ie. better but more expensive arts). So campaign is a lot about how much you are willing to spend on. |
| and that's also why you need to start as soon as possible, because early on there is almost no set available then you have a big threshold at level 5, 8 and 12 when many sets become available/upgraded and are almost needed to finish the campaigns |
| I'm not sure it makes much difference past level 5 as a lot of faction sets become available and these are both very strong and very expensive. So the only cheap way is to do it before level 5, however then the player has very little money, low LG,... which makes it a really big investment with no real return (you must finish like 10 campaigns or more to get AG1). |
