Author | Cost of elements |
It intrigues me. Why are some MG elements on the market generally more expensive then others.
For example, an average witchbloom costs 200gold approx but a moonstone is worth 3500.
Is that something to do with individual drop rates of each type? |
Just good old fashioned supply and demand. |
Low levels in MG don't find certain elements.
Moonstone gets you D-enchant, the best defensive enchant there is.
For jewelry enchants, nature and water are less popular; air, fire and earth are the most popular. |
Yeah once all elements are unlocked the drop rate is same for all, but as dariel says you look at what the elements are used for and thats where the prices are mainly coming from |
I am actually surprised how for each enchant, one element needed is a cheap one and one is an expensive one. How did that came to be? |
Ok now that I looked at the table of needed elements, I completely understand every price. Still, why is Moonstone more expensive than Abrasive? Moonstone can only be used in Defense D and Offense I enchantments, while Abrasive is also used for both of them + Fire jewelry enchantment. Shouldnt abrasive demand be higher? |
Given the higher price of moonies, players may be purchasing more in advance or not putting them in the market when they do get them. |
Well, I immediately sell moonstones as soon as i get them. |
That said.. You have one moonstone in your inventory right now so... |
for Meshy:
I will buy it |
why is Moonstone more expensive than Abrasive?
You can only get moonstones from MG3, but abrasives from MG1, so there should be more abrasives on the market.
