AuthorEnchanted artifacts and cost per battle
How exactly are costs determined for selling fully enchanted items or renting them, taking into account enchantment, repair costs, etc? Like what is the cost to fully enchant something, and at what point is repairing something no longer considered useful. I guess this question is directed at smiths/enchanters and/or clan storekeepers. Additionally, for non-enchanted items that come from chests of abundance with increased durability, how are their costs determined?
I guess your question is basically broken up into several smaller questions, I'll try and answer them all, but let me know if I've missed anything.

For a simply cpb calculator, you can find it here: http://trial.6te.net/Calculators/cpbCalculator.html

This is a simple calculator where you input costs and it gives you the point where cpb is lowest.

The cost to fully enchant something is a bit more complicated (but not much).

https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=39#arms

There you can find which elements you need for a specific enchant, and https://www.lordswm.com/help.php?section=10 you can find the number of elements needed for a given level of enchant. For example for D10 you need 30 moonstones and 30 abrasives.

Sometimes getting the total cost is as simple as checking the market for the price and multiplying by however many you need. Some trainee enchanters will offer a payback if you use their service, making the overall cost lower. Off the top of my head, General Zod offers:

Weapon enchanter-2x3, I pay 400 gold/element used as rollback
Armor Enchanting - I can do 2x6%, I pay 300 gold/element used
Jewelcrafter - I am jewel level 2, I pay 400 gold/element used

There may also be someone in your clan who does a similar offer.

So he can enchant your weapon to 2x3 then you can get someone else to enchant it to 5x10 for example.

You can easily figure out those costs if you know how many you need and the cost of elements.

From there, you can use the overall cost (enchants included) in the link I gave at the start to find the cheapest point. Alternatively some more complicated calculators will show you the cpb at each stage and you can choose one that is acceptable to you. I know Regis has one and will ask him to post here.

For partially used arts, there is a page that can tell you the residual value of the arts you can sell for, so if an art at 100/100 is worth 50k, how much is it worth at 25/70? Annoyingly I can't find the page for that atm..

For non-enchanted extra dura items, there are several factors at play:

1. Good old Supply and Demand
2. How extended the dura is
3. CPB of non-extended dura

1. Self explanatory I hope

2. A 100/100 SoM will give many more battles than a 95/95 SoM and therefore priced much higher, many people will prefer to enchant the 100/100 so that will also push the price up more (see point 1).

3. Often for arts many people will look for a cpb that is similar to the shop version, maybe a bit higher to give a value of "convenience of not having to constantly repair". So where a regular SoM might have a cpb of 170, an extended dura one may have a cpb of 190 because people want it more / don't want to repair as much.

Very nice answer. Thank you for the helpful links and information

enchanting cost calculator.
Much easier site -

If you want to calculate for enchanted arts, can add overall enchanted cost on gold section, you'll get same result.
