Yeah, I would be surpirsed if anyone has lost to the undead pirates.
For me been tough going with shadow barb, slow battles (when I need quick ones) and essentially one misjudgement and it is all over.
Darkness is the toughest for me as a defensive build as they nerf my ogres to a pulp.
You spend all battle carefully working out where to go and judging to avoid the stacks that ostensibly one hit you and muck up all your plans, only to then to miss one thing at the end and its curtains.
Try this one for size. Only 145T

| I wanted to try building an alt faction a bit, so bought potion of skill and was making use of it for the event. Interesting battles being something else for a while, more enjoyable that way, even if frustrating when quite possibly losing more often as well. |

I also asked for the best Dwarf strategy. I guess not many players did this event with dwarf.
So far it worked best for me with expert def talents. |

I find dwarf to be weakedt faction for 1v1 events. At a point you face such strong enemy which is almost impossible to defeat as a dwarf.
It requires how lucky you got with opponent placement for your dreadbanes/invokers to massacre turn 1.
How much AI priority banes have rn? They were never touched before th nerf, After the nerf they were second to be attacked after pats and sometime first too. But right now they are always hit first. |
| Yeah, I found Dwarf to be really weak in comparison to Knight which I have mainly used... I found Dwarf okay for the Tomb of the Sun event though ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |
| I also think dwarf is weak for this event. I have problems with ship lvl 5, caring close to the minimum (120tones out of 150 max). I'm winning 50% of the battles, not even worth moving forward in the event...:( |

It will do, but should have been higher, to me a while to work out limitations of I've build and adjust, was too optimistic.
However, it was interesting using a different faction. I would recommend that if your are bored with a repeat event, then rather than getting annoyed by it, make it feel different by switching up what you do. Keeps the grey cells going. |
