Used to be one could do minimal loads and complete the event easily that way. Since a few events I noticed this is not the case anymore to be able to do lowest difficulty and remain scottfree while even wearing max arts.
When even skeletal corsairs with ini 13 go before all my sharpshooters with ini 14, while my morale 4 and luck 3 only works once every 5 moves while AIs morale 1 somehow even works overtime, the admins are really going the get woke go broke way. |

Not sure if this event has happened before but I think the concept is pretty cool. That is, how the event was made. First time playing a pirate event.
It'd be even cooler if you could buy more stuff for your ship. Like hiring special mercenaries for a certain type of pirate. Or if you could choose different shipping routes and had to prepare for how those routes differed.

I would think that since TDE has no shrews for bait, the Pirate will take out the cannons first and gg. |

It did had more than 2K of each when I bought them and I went there right away after mesh's post.
Of course it will be empty after a day with event and empty mines.

I'm playing with max arts and doing loads of 105 on my lvl 5 ship with freight capacity 100 to 150, this way AI has 2 cannons while I have 4 and still allready I lost twice. I have always played this event like that, just doing minimal loads to complete it with zero losses, but somehow this time the AI stacks have grown tremendously in sizes. Instead of stacks of 8 sea witches it has now become stacks of 38 sea witches, rest of the stacks the same increase. The only difference is I went from lvl 17 to 18, but I did not see this kind of difference when I played this at lvl 15, then at lvl 16 and then at lvl 17, so I'm ruling that out. I have seen similar over the last 5-6 events orso, that somehow the difficulty has been raised so that you cannot do it at the lowest difficulty anymore without taking some losses. |
