Hello EFL clan mates, complaining about what other players do does not suit you. If you are honest with yourself, our competition is with other clans who have never been in top 3. We aim to get into top 20.
Also, what purpose does blaming AK players serve? Do you not talk about when ninja will return? Do you not talk about Mesh and mellor being part of us? Were you not happy when RecorderPT joined us? We are a .com clan and we want all these awesome players to come join us someday. We should be happy they are getting the best creatures.
We make some progress every event. #23 last time (which was our best performance in any LeG event). I have 40 / 157. We try to encourage other clan mates. We know we are not lazy. The amount of work that our leadership does to try to increase our performance is insane, you know we are not lazy. Our Skype chat is full of players trying to help other players with few stacks. We cannot change the fact that some of our clan did not participate immediately, but we reach out to everyone and try to help/encourage them.
To me, all AK players are the most actives we would love to have join us. Let us make a clan they want to join. We are on the right track, I see the real effort. And if they get better troops, be happy because someday they will use those troops to help us get higher.
No complaining please. We have a hard path ahead of us. But move forward with grace and a smile. We are not petty. And these are our players, our community. |

The fact that you have less clan members hurt a bit. It looks like you lost quite a few members to those top clans. It's a cascading effect. Once a clan looks like the top one, people jump ship, and the score difference becomes more pronounced, which causes more people to switch. |

As I understand from MrBattleControl, they went to a clan AK is friendly with to help them get the #2 spot. That is a noble gesture.
I think talking about the affairs of other clans is hard to get right and can be avoided. For instance, like in the above scenario, what appears is not what is. In our case, it appears that we are not trying, but I think we are because I have more context.
The right attitude is probably to see what the top clans do and try to replicate it. You are with me in EFL because you share the dream of having a .com clan rise from below. I think there is a lot of satisfaction to be gained from being part of the struggle. And a lot of amazing folks have joined in to help us too. If we keep our heads down and keep at it, more might join. Commenting on what other clans do or do not do paints us in a bad light. I believe that none of us is entitled or envious, otherwise you wouldn't have taken the hard road less travelled. Be proud, be humble, look to a bright future mate! :D |

The GGf is the right place for players to discuss individual, clan, and inter-clan issues relevant to the topic in question. For as long as what's discussed in this topic is related to the current event, some leeway is granted. Insults, trolling, and any other such behaviour are obviously not allowed.
Just keep it civil and try not to flood.
The right attitude is probably to see what the top clans do and try to replicate it.
This is how the admins see the game. They want competition. They want to make the game enticing, and they figured the best way was to reduce the max player pool per MC, and force them to strike a balance between the PvP and the PvE aspects of the game.
It's very interesting to me to see how players with lower LeG lvl can still perform well. Which means that a MC where all 200 players commit themselves can rank high.

Yeah. The run after clan rewards is more about presitige than about the troops, I think. Except maybe the top 3. |
To me in the event the AI should win almost all battles later on (if they were human controlled then I think they would), it is about working out a configuration and tactics that mean the AI makes bad decisions such that you have a way of winning. This is an interesting thought process that I like, though the trial and error (and cost) of coming up with one when limited by choice of troops is frustrating. Of course all the more reason to do high AP battles (I've started grinding WG for a regular cost effective supply of some LeG troops).
What I am not sure about is the clan reward system and what that does to peoples sense of clan identity. Previous to these events it was fairly fluid as it was. With the rewards so disparate to the top 3 it has created a situation where there is regular swapping of people in clans to an extent greater than has previously been the case.
To me this is not a healthy set up and erodes the point and original purpose of the clans in the first place.

I think that as time goes by, everyone will have plenty of good stacks, regardless of grinding LeG. And since top rewards won't mean that much, most players will eventually show their loyalty to their preferred clan.
There will always be players aiming for the best possible rewards, so I assume we'll have a new class of mercenaries - the PvE mercs. Personally, I have nothing for or against that, everyone should be free to enjoy the game as they please. |
| Most people stay loyal to their clan as long as there us still a fighting chance of coming in a decent position. Those that leave but come back after rewards are still loyal in my mind. |

I've seen some very interstesting combinations shared. 41 cleared with faeries/sprites/dryads !!

| if every clan mates takes 40lv successfully, can get 164,000 clan points(200*820),which is still staying at no.4. if want to be the top.1, many of them need to complete 41-50lv, and lose tons of gold. do you think its the fastest way to waste gold? :) |
