AuthorTomb of the Moon
but this kind of events are about glory and honor of clan, thats why so many people have to sacrifice or waste their gold on it, even if we all know its not a good deal..
maybe it should call tomb of the money :p
maybe there are still few people didnt lose so much gold in this event, just like him :

but most of us nearly got bankrupt from this, hehe
Those that leave but come back after rewards are still loyal in my mind.

Oh god, I can't think of a better example of a turncoat behavior. What amazes me is that clans allow them to come back.

uhhh....
for Omar Contreras:
i dont think its a bad idea.

on the contrary, all of us in this forum are in a big .com family :) it's the time we put aside our differences and tried to reach a consensus among the 3 top .com clans:Anykey,EFL, AnD.

Why shouldnt we unite? To reach one goal: make .com clan as champion among all russian ALWAYS:) sometimes Anykey, sometimes EFL, sometimes AnD, that would be funny, and which may attract more attention from adm :)

btw, i dont think anykey would be so strong today without many of our great fighters come from AnD.

anther fact:before next event, many of us would have reached 10LG already :)

Indeed... will be interesting to see how big the jump to LeG11 will be... I'm guessing at least 1k as admins kick the problem (people hitting max level) intonthe long grass. :D

If ever this dream was a thing - and it was, - it has been taken outback and shot in the head.

I think it's buried in a mass grave in Portal Ruins. Along with our donations.
for omar and Lawton it is kind of karma ,when a ship is sinking the first ones to leave are the rats
who could blame them if the guild is on a bubble boy spot and the first of yhe month passed and it is time to pay tax as if the event dint milk enough gold then it is time to say sayanorra

I have heard a version of this everyday for the past 2 years. Initially from my own clan mates - EFL is a clan only for people who prioritise RL over a flash game. Then from Russian clans who said if we capture any facility they will attack us and cut us to size. During events, they tell me that there is no point trying because we will never get into top 3.

Well, everyone was being logical while making predictions. But no, the dream is alive. A dream cannot die until someone believes in it. I will keep pumping gold and collecting like minded people together till this becomes a reality. Every event, we try to do better than last time. Every day, we try to recruit the limited .com player base to buy into the dream and be heroes.

This is my contribution to the dream - 40/173.

If you think the dream is at least worth thinking about, come join us. The dream is becoming a reality, though very slowly. This is our best ever performance in an event. If we cannot be bold and take risks to be part of something small and noble and crazy in a game, what does it say about us?

So no, I take exception to that, Syrian. The dream is alive. Everyone who persevered in last event till the last hour like MBC just to help us get our score a bit higher despite knowing we will not reach #20 is a proof that this dream will not die.
For Syrian , I think dream could come true if all unite and lead , I would 100 % in .
@Omar try not to take that out of context, the point I was making is that they try with their own clan as much as possible, and move only when there is no chance.

It's not turncoat behaviour if people return

When A&D lost most of its top players, EFL didn't get many of them. Most went to AK, which can oddly be considered the top ".commish" MC.

The dream is alive.

And you have my respect for that. But note that .com isn't a thing anymore as far as admins see the game. The choice to develop a clan that started in a server that doesn't exist anymore is just that - a choice. As more and more oldies leave the game, it becomes more of a curiosity that anything else.
And I do, and always will, fight for .com. I'm not in my current MC by accident.

We could do with your points :P You got through 37 relatively easily. We struggled quite a bit :D 37*38/2 is a lot of points.
Both A&D and my current MC lost sectors to the same attacker. My helping my current clan has to do with helping .com. It's not complicated.

As for this event, I certainly enjoyed it, and I'm glad I wasn't as useless as I had thought I'd be, at my lowly LeG 4. I thank the admins for thinking of the little guys.
Well our guild managed #30 this time, we used to be top 10 but steadily dropped when the better reward movements started.
Since these leadership events got added I had made a point that it was nothing but a money drain which got ridiculed but give it to the admins to proof my point during this event. And to those that were preaching how they were making top dollar on these events: Enjoy dwindling your riches.
for Lawton:
Profitability of LeG is a balance between available creatures, strategy/tactics and a choice of what difficulty to face.

This event was definitely potentially profitable should you choose to stop at whichever battle got to the point where resurrect costs exceeded reward (for me this was around level 35 if I have remembered correctly)

Of course to complete required some trial and error and losses, and I would think few if any managed to do level 50 without some element of loss. For some this would have been quite modest, for other astronomical.

Similarly with the right creatures people can profit from normal battles, some only at 1 difficulty, however I have looked at logs of some people whom seem on a crude mental average to be around a break even on 1.5 battles.

There is still the potential long term therefore that LeG can be profitable in the normal grind, though unlikely to be so for events unless you get out early enough.
