Make Abu Bakr cast a spell that auto-ressurects dead troops for the duration of the event.
WHy? Because LeG is actually nice. You keep trying to beat very hard levels with different combinations of the limited stacks you have.
There's a big but though. You spend 1.5K! per try? Why? Is it really necessary to take to something good and ruin it?
Admins are already milking the whales. This might make it more fun for the rest of us too.
If it's not the moeny that bothers, you. Think of it this way.
Every time you pay that 1.5k, no matter how rich you are, you are getting more pissed at the game.
And looking at the forums, it's clear that a lot of patrons are very pissed. Not because they can't afford the 1.5k, but paying it takes an emotional toll. It would seem like a no. 1 rule to keep the patrons happy, so it helps there too.
I would definitely agree with a more homm style option to replay a battle if you think you could do better, then you could try get the perfect strategy to reduce losses

I'm torn on this, on the one hand 1.5k is the approximate cost of a set when doing an event, so it makes sense to have some cost involved.

On the other hand, things can (and often do) get out of hand, so perhaps a cap or a free go. Something like "after resurrection 3x on one level its free for that level" or "you have 2 free ressurection per level, after that you pay each time"

There isn't a rule but you are already saving that much gold per attempt than if the event required you to wear arts. This "emotional toll" you speak of is just a load of bull. If you have better reasoning, let us hear it. Right now its unsatisfactory.

And the point is? I made 180k by selling mirror and will make upwards of 80k when I sell my pirate magic ring. I don't care for this comparison. Neither am a I a grand supporter of there being 1.5k cost to playing normal games. Remove art duras too for all I care. It brings money to admins, sure, but doesn't mean we need to defend it.

Not at all, I've only lost 14 times and they're probably decently spread out. I'm all for money sinks (working to Sg8), but I feel like there should be some restraint from the admins, which would probably encourage people to keep trying for longer.

If we think about this, what is the underlying concern, cost being large to be able to complete. Since the two do not match people naturally give up earlier, which means the potential enjoyment from an event becomes less. This is extra so when a significant part of the incentive is driven from guild rewards, which fairly quickly become clear which they will be and are difficult for an individual to influence at any case.

There are two ways to redress this balance, one is to reduce the cost, the other is to increase the reward. I would think it clunky to have something that decreases the resurrection cost after a loss (say a 5-10% decrease after each successive loss).

Personally I think it would be better to increase the reward more significantly for the latter parts where the demand is demonstrably so much higher.
Maybe introduce a potion that lasts for an hour, giving free auto-ressurects or something like that.
