Castle moat

AuthorCastle moat
In this battle
https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?lt=-1&warid=991331829&html5=1

There is no moat displayed on the battlefield, yet if you watch the movement of my bears half way through (when I use agility rune on them), it acted as if there was some restriction, implied that there was indeed a moat. Is this a normal feature (always assume either spikes or moat) or else there is a bug.

Thanks
I always assumed the row of water was the moat that restricted movement

ok thats weird, I should have screenshot it myself, when I played the battle, there was no moat shown, though clearly there is when I go into it now. Must just be a graphics glitch when it loaded I guess.

I tried to view your battle, but even I'm not able to view it as of now.
Though in screenshot, it's pretty clear
I did watched it twice, in first there was no water there till the end of the battle and at second it was there from the start.

Looks like the glitch that happens from time to time and can not move a unit at an empty tile of a fresh killed unit which shows as occupied from an alive unit and have to reload to fix it. Not just once sometimes.
I don't see a moat either.
It is just a bit weird, I have gone back to the same battle and now there is no moat again shown.

Clearly a graphics thing then, since the dynamic is preserved, so functionally the moat was there, just whether you could see it or not. Do we think it is down to using html5?

Doubtful, I use HTML5
for Meshy:
Though so do I, as such if it is graphics based and I am never using flash, presumably it has to be linked to html5. From watching how it loads when connection is poor, it loads up separate parts of the graphics one at a time, one assumption would be that it is able to commence the start of the battle before the moat graphic has loaded, and hence an intermittent fault occurs?

No big thing really, though useful to be aware that if you do not see a moat or spikes on the battlefield, it may be worth refreshing to check that this is really the case.
