They're pretty much very costly
Taking into account All estate licences 1% costs about 30000-40000 on an average,
except the ones in empire capital, which costs around 75000
Taking 100% into account.
That would mean 3 million - 4million or 7.5 million for each estate
Plus all the annexes and which costs around another 1.5 million for any estate.
Why would we invest so much into such estates when the return is about 100 gold - 500 gold per visit by any player.
Is there even any possibility that someone might actually gain profit through this? |

You get additional storage and it's a sign of wealth.
There is also a small income stream as you mentioned but it's nothing huge. |

| I don't think anyone who builds estate smith enchant expects their money back, it is a luxury and it's because they can as it has already been said. :P |
