how do they work for damage from your spells, is there some formula? | If you have a 10% magic enchantment you will deal 10% extra with your spells | for merlin36:
it's not relevant answer, for several amount of enchantments formula works different way. i mean, one ring with 10% enchantment will deal 10% extra damage, but 2 rings with 10% won't give 20%. | Hi , it works like this
This will be for 2 rings of 10% enchantment
1 - (1-0.1)(1-0.1)
=0.19
=19%
This is for 3 rings of 10% enchantment
1-(1-0.1)(1-0.1)(1-0.1)
=0.271
=27.1%
So the basic formula of enchantments can be
1 - (1 - x)^n
Where x = percentage of your enchantment
n = number of enchantments you are wearing ( n != 1)
It will fail if you put n = 1 ( for that it's just the enchantment itself :D)
But this works only if x remains constant
If x changes , you just put different value of it per art
1 - (1-x)(1-y)(1-z)....
x , y , z = different enchantments on arts
Well that's how it works if I'm not wrong =) | You do the enchantments separately, so if you have 10% air on one ring, and 10% air on another your spells will be 1×1.1×1.1 stronger, so 21% more powerful. But only those that deal air damage like lightning, a foreball would not deal extra damage. Basically the enchantments multiply jot add | Well that didnt show up how i expected. 100% damage being base, a 10% would take it to 110% damage, then another 10% (11) would take it to 121% | 1 - (1-x)(1-y)(1-z)....
x , y , z = different enchantments on arts

Think about it carefully it would break the game if it was like that :D
If that was true 100% magic penetrations would be possible :D
Example :
ignore shield maximum is 36% for a ring , scroll or necklace or cloak so ummm if you just add it , it will cross 100% and would break the game but it works like this ->
1 - (1-0.36)(1-0.36)(1-0.36)(1-0.36)(1-0.36) (36% ignore shield pens)( 2 rings , 1 scroll , 1 amulet , 1 claok)
This is equal to 0.8926258176 i.e 89.2% magic penetration is the max possible , if it was just additive , magic armors would be totally useless, well they are even now till some extent but still there is a scope of 10.8% shield from magic which indeed helps!) | Posts 4 and 8 are correct. | Was wrongly thinking about the damage stacking of enchants on troop damage, getting confused then as only one single enchantment helps not all 4 sorry |
