Sure..
Yes, Pikemen are worth getting. Very strong IMO. And donation troops don't see price increases. So a very safe bet.
They are a tier-1 troop, with huge attack (12), and 60% ignore defense. That would be very strong against everything other than the simpler tier-1. |

A freshly created tier 1 with 15 hp? Attack 12 and def 7? That's like a tier 2-3. Ignore defense 60%? Even boar riders just got 20%, 60% is that of a tier 7. The admins really must want your money to create a creature like this, in their hurry they even forgot to give it a bonus against cavalry or large creatures since it's pikemen. But to ask over a hundred euros for it? Now that's what I call insanity or in their case desperation.

Because I'm not a big donator? My total in-game donation is for lesser than 180.
But If I could afford it, I would. I figure they'll become as useful as the dwarf warriors or crusaders in LeG.

When fighting against something like thunderheads, or skeletal pirates, they don't have any particular advantage.
Their damage is lower, but the higher attack makes up for it. Nothing spectacular.
Ignore defense 60%? Even boar riders just got 20%, 60% is that of a tier 7.
Ignore defence has much less utility in LeG as it does in the real game. |

Honestly, If LeG was not made popular at its inception, we wouldn't have made it to the ridiculous situation in the first place. We have back to back LeG events, summoning scrolls for LeG, donations for specific highly rated LeG troops, daily LeG ranking quests, weekly LeG tournaments with rewards.. and clans being rated on LeG events putting every other aspect of their members on the back foot making it a difficult for people who dislike LeG to hold their stance. What was it they called this? An optional guild? I don't know how you all define "optional" maybe it is related to stats/parameters awarded, but to me it seems like LeG has already become very integral with the game focusing so heavily on it. Come to think of it, if this were meant to be optional, you wouldn't have a whole guild dedicated to it, and have troops displayed in gold next to your achievements lol. I don't want to blame anyone, but it can be clearly seen that some of you who find the current situation silly today are among the very same people who got carried away like a fool in the beginning supporting this shit. |

I remember when it came in game i was excited about it. But then they did all thinks you mentioned and iy turned into hatred. And giving 1%ini. Thats just stupid. That forced me to play that stupid guild |
Some of us are still very excited by LeG.
I find LeG to be a lot more accessible than the main game.
I have only 2 out of the 9 castles. And to stay competitive, I am forced to play WG/MG in which I just cannot keep up.
On the other hand, LeG requires only that I keep playing events, and as long as I'm getting the clan rewards, I'm in good shape.
Of course, this required working on LeG to 10 as a prerequisite, but that's over.
Sure, these donation arts make it a bit p2w. But end of the day, you can only use 2-3 fighter troops in events, and 4 in tournament.
So if you can collect some good epics on your own, then you can make do without the donation troops. Which is what I plan to do. |
