To be honest with you, I may have donated heavily for gaining my castles, thief's guild, seasonal arts, etc. so my in-game expenses were taken care of with real money. But don't let that scare you. It takes a while but you can be more rich easily if you are frugal by just enrolling and not making poor purchase decisions. |

| At earlier levels you have low lg and the gold reward when you level is often lower than the cost of new castle buildings. Later on you have a greater earning potential and the ratio of reward to castle cost changes such that you get more good than it costs. As such there are two solutions, be patient, frugal and enroll lots, or donate. Both work, I have full castles and enough spare cash, which while I have donated a little bit, I have enough spare equity that I would essentially be in the same position whether I had or had not. Others may have got there quicker and more easily with donations. I am however and old boy that has been here a while. |
