1. No entry fee!

2. Event starts later than it used to.

I didn't see any announcement about this.

It's interesting that there is no entry fee. I hope more players compete; however, where will incentive come from without buy-in?

The later hours isn't so bad, although I do enjoy being able to play on what for me is a Sunday afternoon. Waiting 'til late at night or Monday seems interminable. But that's just me.
Interesting! One question, is it unfavourable to level up too fast in this game?
Tournament usually gives lots of exp
for Eol:
Level up too quickly without building your guilds/faction levels enough and you risk being non-competitive at higher levels.

To avoid that, you should ideally aim for battles that give the lowest exp/fsp ratio.
IIRC, victorious CG battles currently give the best ratio. At lower levels, such as yours, easy hunts give a good ratio and most monster MG quests.

There is a announcement in ru, the format of survival tournament changed.

Max wave limit of 6, max attempts increased to 9 etc.

Dear Heroes! Today begins the 284th survival tournament with changed mechanics:

1. The number of opponents entering the arena is limited to 6 waves;
2. The Lightning Tower was dismantled from the tournament arena;
3. The difficulty of opponents is now more balanced for each faction;
3. A new wave of opponents will enter the battlefield no later than three full moves after the previous wave;
4. When defeating the 6th wave of opponents, the same number of points multiplied by the remainder of the player’s army in% will be added to the points accumulated. For example, if the Hero scored 1000 points and at the end of the battle half of the army survived, the final result will be: 1000 + 1000 * 0.5 = 1500 points;
5.For each victorious battle, Heroes will receive +0.5 points of the Guild of Hunters, as well as +5 parts of the rare detachment of the Guild of Leaders ;
6. Canceled entry fees ;
7. The number of possible fights increased to 9;
8. The prize fund will depend on the number of participants at each level and fraction;
9. All participants with points will be awarded with gold for each fraction separately

no more freebies exactly, and they did revive, more players will play it and fsp ratio is also improved

hate to disagree with a clanmate but imo thats one of the best update in years.
Those who were not capable to win or those who disliked playing it since it took literally 30 mins-1 hr, will be happy.
But now all who participated gets gold reward, you can literally copy paste tries from ST winner's log.. again admin made it also absurd of a thing. Destroy all skills and tactical aspects from game.
They added bots in PT, now made ST useless too. Very good job from admins.

Just should change name now. This thing is not a 'Tournament'.
Unless they hide battles again, ST is shit and useless thing now.

You don't know me, don't comment. I or basically anyone who has hold over STs, relies on ATB bar and doesnt wait turns, because lightning tower.

and ATB bar is management is one of the most complex things in game, so yes thats "skill".

Everything will be good I assume, IF they hide battles.
Less gold rewards, but more players participation.
Well ive probably figured it out too late, but players of the same level cannot see each other's battle.
Have to agree with Prozyk here, hiding ST battles only makes sense. We don't want dumb opportunists benefiting off of other's tactics.
