Counselor Feurlis himself, meanwhile, was all alone sitting at the table of his gloomy office. His empty gaze is not the first to contemplate the outline of the dancing flame of a lonely candle. "And where...?" the necromancer asked suddenly, as if he had deliberately interrupted, taking a short pause.
"She cleans the traces until the guards have taken full control of the area" the vampire answered calmly, to which the advisor only nodded approvingly and gestured to continue "None of the interrogated have the full information we need. Even the application of the third degree of interrogation has not yielded positive results. According to them, a big case is being prepared, but the details are known only to the leader and his close associates"
"Is there something on this "chief"?" In a calm and even a little detached tone, the advisor asked.
"Yes, but there is not enough information. No one knows his name. Everyone just calls him "Boss". He looks like a regular bandit: medium height, medium build, black hair, tar beard. Practically doesn't trust anybody. Supposedly comes from the Empire. He appeared in the wastelands a few years ago, united several previously warring gangs, promising fair treatment and share to all. Suspiciously quickly established ties with imperial gangs. Has access to the thieves guild"
"Hmm, a gangster with a sense of justice?" with a fair share of irony and scepticism Feurlis continued, "is that it?"
"No" unexpectedly for the necromancer, the vampire answered. "One of the interrogated managed to mention the same reagent warehouse"
The last phrase awakened a strong interest in the counselor. For the first time during this conversation he broke away from the back of his chair and quickly stretched out his bony hand, wanting to see this information personally. Immediately handing over the papers, the vampire immediately pulled back and gently sank back, gradually dissolving into the darkness. And after a moment of his departure, a light sound of the closed door gave him away. "Well, well, well, well..." The necromancer quietly prayed to himself, quickly glancing through the records, "What are you up to, old man?"
