Last year the offer started same time but was called Special Christmas Offer. Also there was no artifact bonus, now they have added ring of cold.
Those special offers seem more and more loaded with donation shop-like artifacts what makes those artifacts more and more common and a must have in PvP or in events here shop artifacts are necessary. |

So is there a catch here too like previous offers ?
Like, previously 25 diamonds instead of 30 for special arts was the case, is it the same with respect to this offer too ? |

Here are the numbers I've actually tested:
41 base diamonds (49.2 total) - 1st scroll
42 base diamonds (50.4 total) - 2nd scroll and Ring of Cold
43 base diamonds (51.6 total)
62 base diamonds (74.4 total)
63 base diamonds (75.6 total) - 3rd scroll
124 base diamonds (148.8 total) - 4th and 5th scroll
125 base diamonds (150 total) - 6th scroll, epic stack
So it's actually .ru numbers as total diamonds:
50 total diamonds for RoC (41.6666.. base diamonds)
150 total diamonds for epic stack (125 base diamonds)
Every 25 total diamonds for golden scroll (20.8333.. base diamonds). |

So it seems to be different compared to the last offer, in which you need the base diamonds excluding the 15% bonus to qualify for the arts. However this time you only need the total diamonds including the 20% bonus. Interesting.. |
Previously I only checked for wheather the .com numbers line up with the .ru ones based on rubles, assuming it's just a translation mishap.
But I didn't go on to check the reliability of those .ru numbers in the first place. So that's completely my bad reaching the wrong conclusion and it seems to be .ru numbers as total diamonds all along. I.e. even the .ru announcement is misleading by counting rubles (base diamonds).
In either case, the .com numbers still turn out to be more expensive than necessary. |

| It turns out we were better of than russians. They need 6000 rubles for epic creature. We needed a lot less. 125 biamonds got you everything. They needed to buy 150 diamonds. Seems the mistake was corrected. |

| It's not. You need 180 diamonds in total. 150 was a mistake in their system. We exploited a bug. Russians were paying 180 diamonds in total all along. |
On russian site it says 6000 rubles get you wendigos (bonus included). That is 150 diamonds +20% and that is 180 diamonds.
On .com it says 180 diamonds get you wendigos which is also with bonu (you need 150 diamonds + bonus). Basicaly it's the same thing. |
Apparently maths of translator is weak.
150 with base, 20% bonus, means you'll need 150/1.2 = 125, but they translated for 150*1.2 = 180
or just poor tactics to attract more money ;p |
| No. Again. It was a bug. They never intended 125 diamonds to be enough. It's 150+20% which gives 180 diamonds. Thing was tested on both .ru and .com site. For 125 or 140 diamonds tgey did not get wendigos. Announcment is correct we had a bug in system. |
| Donation messages are not run via the Translation team I think. Admins post directly by editing values in previous announcements. |
