Well just curious here since i am gonna get a diamond upgrade on my 17th level.
What tier 7 benefits most from the diamond upgrade and why?
I think making giants ranged might be very strong. Lets discuss! |
Titans are good if you plan to plan holy wizard. Also good to have for battlewiz but not so crucial. If you don't play much of wizard, then there are too many better options.
I would rank Archdevils (red demon) > Jade dragons > necro t7 > infuriated Behemoths > tribal t7 > black dragons above others. These are way more significant upgrades if you play their respective classes in pvp. |
| They are all a big benefit, sure some are proportionally better than others, though I think all of this pales in comparison to which you will use more before you hit cl18, when you can get all of the upgrades. As such I would go with whichever one you think you will use more or enjoy using more. |

I would say all of t7 upgrades make sense to get if you plan to play either of those factions. T7upgrades get like 5more attack and defence, sometimes extra speed, ini. and some new ability.
If you want to skip DU then TDE and charmer are best factions.
Barbarian can also work pretty good without. Rest is huge win. |
@virutal why do you like archdevils so much? and why not archangels?

The reason for archdevils is because of their summoning ability combined with gating ability which leads to additional summons. What this means is you can have a minimum of 4 stacks of pit demons on the battlefield if you have a defensive build and your archdevils are not taken out immediately.
Pit demons are amazing simply because of having blade of doom and even more useful is the 20 mana each stack gets to cast disrupts. Multiply that by 6 if you were able to split pit demons during settlement. For the amount of control and utility this provides, I feel that there is no better DU available if you like to go with red demon.
Archangels are good for their 8 speed and increases in offense and defense (resurrection can be handy), but they are not as game changing against any matchup that I mentioned here. Even the ones i put on end of my top list like black dragons have something that can have a huge impact to your winrate like when you face mages.
Sure if you play knight a lot, it makes complete sense to get Archangels because they are cool units. In fact, all T7 upgrades are very cool. I just wanted to share my opinion about which one will give you a huge impact in gameplay. |
