Asked the same question in event thread, but I'm looking at a more concrete answer if this is a bug or my score before joining a clan will not count?
I scored some points before joining any clan. After scoring certain points I joined a clan. So If I am right, before it did count all the points scored even before joining as contribution to the event points. But the clan page the score is different from that on the event page for me. |
| No, it will not count the points you already earned. It will count the points which are the points you scored while being in that clan. |

This behaviour is different from other events though? Wave based events, if you clear the new wave, all points earned so far are attributed to the clan.
Has this changed? Is this the new mechanism? |

Yes I think so.
There's no need for clan hopping anymore. Clan hopping is an unhealthy way to play the game anyway.
The clan does not need last minute members during events when only the top 100 is scored. |

No, not a new mechanism. Certain events have points dependent on highest level cleared / highest silver gained etc thus if you join a new clan and win a battle it gives all points. Other events had points accrued while in the clan (which is this one I believe).
Not too sure if it has anything to do with wave based :D |
