Hi,
I came across this mechanic I don't understand and am curious. Why doesn't fireball deal damage to allied troops?
From combat log:
"Ptica1992 deals 133 damage to Boar riders with the Fireball spell. 9 perish.
Ptica1992 deals 0 damage to Frontier ursary with the Fireball spell.
Ptica1992 deals 0 damage to Berserkers with the Fireball spell.
Ptica1992 deals 170 damage to Death envoys with the Fireball spell. 3 perish.
Ptica1992 deals 254 damage to Dreadlords with the Fireball spell. 7 perish.
Ptica1992 damages armor of Dreadlords with fire.
Ptica1992 damages armor of Boar riders with fire.
Ptica1992 damages armor of Death envoys with fire."

It took me a while to figure it out and i'm not sure it's correct.
I think it is because of the dwarfs 'rune of elemental immunity'
> Rune of Elemental Immunity.
>Requires faction skill level 5
>The stack affected by this rune becomes immune to damage of 2 random elements out of: Fire, Water, Air, Earth.
I can't see a line in the combat chat where he casts it though so unsure what the mechanism is for activating it |
