Threat Level Confusion

AuthorThreat Level Confusion
Dear Lords of Ladies from the Dark Elf faction, I realized that sometimes I may lose in hunts that are either green light or no light. Any tips to grow myself from such negative experience? Thank you all..
The hunt threat indicator is not a very good measure of how easy the hunt is. That indicator is based on the records for that hunt. Players often pump the records up using enchants + neutral hunt bonus arts. So if a hunt has been pumped by a well developed player using mega arts, the green isn't a fair representation.

My suggestion to you if you are looking to do a green hunt is to look at the last hunt that you did for that creature (from your personal records page https://www.lordswm.com/pl_hunter_stat.php?id=7581523) and see how easily you beat it. If you only just managed to beat the last hunt, understand that the next one has 30% more creatures and you may need to equip more arts to beat it (unless you have done the hunt a long time ago and have levelled up etc.)
Yes, be very cautious of the warning indicator. You can get absolutely smashed by a white hunt if you're not careful because somebody set the record with enchanted beastbane.

It's best to use your own judgement/ignore it entirely
The hunt color is generally a good indicator of the challenge level, except for a couple of cases:

1. New hunt creatures. For new creatures, the hunt record may not have settled, so the color may be meaningless.

2. Diamond upgrade. If you're on a combat level where a diamond upgrade is available, and you don't have it, hunting is likely more difficult for you than the color indicates, because it's almost a sure thing that the record holder had diamond upgrade. In your case, the lizard upgrade is available, which may help significantly with hunting certain types of creatures. Since you don't have it, maybe you should treat each color as one lower than it really is (green is probably yellow, etc.).
Thank you Lords Acean, Omar Contreras and Corey.. For sure the next hunts, I will check my hunt log and mentally prepare for a strategy to either overcome them or request for help.
