In the 'About the game' section, it says that Shadow Barbs can access up until lvl 3 Magic School. Meanwhile, not only can I not access the spells, I can't even build the Magic School as a building.
I've had this trouble for some time, I cannot get Mass Confusion, whatever talent I pick. I even tried it with Wisdom, but still all I could get was a basic Confusion, and the Dominion talent for Confusion didn't grant Mass Confusion |
cuz shadow barbs are not supposed to have mass confusion.

| Confusion and weakness are not available for shadow barb. Wisdom will let your hero cast them at a single target with basic efficiency (20% i think?) but it is a waste of talent points so I recommend you don't. Dominion of mind and Dominion of weakness only give you mass delay and mass curse. I suppose shadow barbs are balanced around this fact. |

| That's not inconsistent; the "Mass" spells are not provided by the Magic Schools. |
| I think when admins wrote "can access" they meant that the faction as a whole can. As in, because orc shaman are part of the faction, Shadow Barbs are able to access all the lvl 3 darkness spells despite the fact that the hero can only go up to 2. |
