i did have scorpions too on day 1 for the reasons you listed, i just forgot about them as i had a lot of t1 units that i dont anymore.
i did plan on making big stack of cavalry(roughly 220 from 12 fights) because 7 speed with high innit and +35% damage would be crazy. but i got a very winnable fight for death envoys(my second choice) so i will probably go with that.
only useful t7 unit imo is anubis as bait unit with 4 retal takers with confusion spell built in but other people may view this differently.
maybe drags as blockers but thats meh if you run orc shamans for confuse |

thank you for those tips...certainly quite ok now for me walking around "day 2" battles...with bunch of zombies....althou have quite a mix from day 1...when did you sold those starting ones....just have them for some bait atm. |
| at a certain point they are useless and i removed them from army, if you keep them in the "bank" they still count as your army strength so dont sell them unless you can buy a unit upgrade that you want. so right now i have 9500 power of dryads sitting in the bank which still counts to my overall score but if i sell them my army will decrease by 9500 as silver doesnt count for score. |

Im going budget arts and decent finish though, strolling around 318k at 1.3k rank
Day 1 bandits only
Day 2 wolves
Day 3 jackals
Day 4 brawlers, sold bandits and upgraded wolves to boars and jackals, got a few extra succubi and liz for the lulz
Day 5 rocs
Day 6 im thinking dreadbanes, huge 1 shot potential
Day 7 behemoths or one of the dragons, probably the dwarven ones |

Every day is important really. You mess up one day and you're down by 100-200 ranks at the very least |
Came accross very interesting AI battle....usualy i do not go on mages, but was my last choice to play.
was not so ineteresting to play (and watch)...so dont blame me to use child labor on this one :) my son finaly could play the game...he was clicking :)

zombies are getting out somehow..they served good in previous "days".
Have to check what to get on "day 6" and replace zombies..with their silver i can upgrade minos to double strikes also. |
What was the ai waiting for there baffles me completely
Its quite common for AI to defend a shooter in a corner, but to do that with magi, and then the magi are too scared to shoot through their allies, that is something else lol |
Maybe shooter wasnt the way to go, but at least I enjoyed it xD
