The Imperial army was returning home, not hiding from the gaze of the enemy, but not bragging about its successes, either. Some of them impressed even the Commander, who had seen a lot of things in his life, but his genuine pride and joy were overshadowed by somber reflection. Sir Lucian's words were coming back to him again and again. Even though Grammith understood the motivation of the stubborn old knight who had chosen to retain the guise of Tenebreus even after being freed from the shackles of Darkness, the path the fallen warrior had chosen was unlikely to lead him back to Light. It was easier to escape the clutches of death than Feurlis's web.

The border was only a step away, but to the Commander the return journey seemed longer than any battle campaigns he'd ever been a part of. Finally the outlines of the walls and towers of the border fort appeared ahead. With each step they became more and more distinct, revealing their "battle scars", above which a golden Griffin banner fluttered in the wind. Grammith couldn't help grinning as he looked up at it. No darkness could obscure the power and courage that shines in the heart of every loyal subject of the Empire, including the wounded heart of Tenebreus and even what Feurlis has for a heart. Whatever the twists of his web, sooner or later they would lead Sir Lucian to the redemption he sought, garnering him the glory he deserved as a two-time knight of the Empire. In the meantime, glory awaited the interceptors returning home triumphant.

Lords and Ladies! The battle mission has been successfully accomplished and even exceeded. The smugglers failed to outsmart the Empire, and they will not soon risk returning to their former secret paths. Warlord Grammith thanks everyone who contributed to the overall success of the operation. Everyone who managed to defeat a caravan of difficulty level 7 or higher has been rewarded with a trophy artifact and a corresponding achievement. The durability of the artifact depends on your maximum difficulty level cleared.
