The endless sand and mirages. Even the oasis behind had just vanished, like an illusion seen along the way. It all felt too familiar. The only thing missing was some gang and the preaching of a mad sage. And that was all the master of the Crossroads was capable of? A feeling of disappointment instantly settled in mind but retreated again in a moment, as if dissolving in the sand beneath the feet. The eyes caught yet another mirage, the one that didn't hastily vanish. It appeared to be directly approaching and gradually forming into the shape of a noble-looking man. The Gray Baron?.. No doubt it was him. "It's deserted here, don't you think?" suddenly came his voice from behind — and the mysterious image in front of the eyes melted away at once, about a dozen steps away. "As if someone's missing..." the Gray Baron spoke again, finally appearing at the edge of the peripheral vision. "Someone forgotten amid the sands in one of the infinite cycles. So far back in time that the time itself does not remember. But I do. And the Crossroads will soon recall." His words, as always, carried riddles — but they no longer surprised. "The answer to your question," suddenly added the Gray Baron after a brief pause. "Yes, this world still has mysteries to unravel that await you on your journey." With his last word, the contours of the master of the Crossroads' image vanished. In his usual manner. And even no mirages left behind. Only sand and the footprints of someone — of some kind of beast that, seemingly, had passed right through.

Lords and Ladies! The journey through the cobwebs of the paths of the mysterious Crossroads has come to its end — and it is time to revel in the results of your choices. The Gray Baron is pleased and ready to give his verdict. Each honorable participant who managed to score at least 150 event points is awarded with a special gift in the form of a unique artifact. The artifact’s durability depends on the total number of points scored.

 
 

The contribution of the top 75 military clans is especially noted — a well-deserved reward and the loyalty of new followers awaits all deserving ones who have brought at least 800 points to the clan:
