Author | Question about Survival Tournament Extra Point |
Hi everyone,
I want to better understand the extra point formula for the survival tournament. The link is here: https://www.lordswm.com/about-game-tournaments
It said that once the 6th wave of the enemy is defeated, "the same number of points will be added to the points scored, multiplied by the rest of the player's troops in %."
How is this percentage calculated? Here are some scenarios that confuse me:
1. If I pick up the orb of resurrection right before the game ends, does the resurrected troop count towards the percentage? In leader's guild, a troop is considered loss even if it heals (think: vampires).
2. If a necromancer casts raise dead, is the percentage of health calculated based on the original health or the health after raise dead? Suppose I have 30 vampires (900 hps). After I use raise death and have 20 vampires (480 hps), is percent health 20/30 or 480/900? Here, the former uses only the original health, whereas the latter take into account the new health after raise dead. | these are some of the unanswered things about ST and admins refuse to clarify.
there are a few things that have been confirmed via trial and error. units lost are lost resurection orb does not gain you more points for having "more" units. health orb also does not count in additional score or lower score. resurect from preistesses on pharaoh faction DOES count and increases your score. I am not sure about raise dead but i would advise against it. however with vampires if you lose 20 of them, lets say 26/46 and heal back up to 46 it would count as always having lost 20.
resurection and health orbs act funny on tribal faction as well as the bonus health from tribal spirit. no one knows for sure but every ST is riduled with controversy in tribal. 2nd place people have perfect runs but lose to someone losing half their army etc.(a bit overexagerated but gets the point across)
rallly talent doesnt appear to aaffect scores for most factions with the 1 outlier once again tribal.
score in survival tournament is calcualted by enemies killed multiplied by %armyleft/%army total
certain enemies like tribal goblins with treachery will detract from your score if you kill less of them before they join you. lets say you face 10000 goblins. They join you with 3000 left. so if 1 person kills 7000 exactly and gains 3000 of them and another kills the whole stack they have 3000 goblins worth of points more then the other.
if you encounter priestesses or archangels with resurect in tournament the units they raise does increase your score. Raise dead from mummies and demiliches does not though. nor does enemy vampires healing and resurecting fallen units | This is indeed very confusing. I wish the admins were clearer about how the extra point is calculated.
I looked through some battles of necros in survival tournaments where they raise dead before wrapping up the battle. That's why I am questioning what the rules are. |
