I am just wondering is something up with the new event : The great contest?
I was asked for 54 AP My FSP nor my CL have changed by the requirements have gone up to 60 suddenly?
Is there a change? or am I missing something? |
| Probably because it is PvP and so they upped the minimum so that the partners are never with people who have basically thrown the match by not wearing enough ap to realistically compete |
| Umm its a slight buff from 54 to 60 not a huge one to change the outcome of battles, but that means I have to up nearly half my artifacts to gain that 1 extra AP from top line artifacts for multiple items -__- thats nearly 80,000 gold (sob) |
| too many people on .ru forum complained about being paired with teamates in homeless gear(non donation or top end gear) which basically makes battles in pvp unwinnable therefore wasting peoples time. think of it this way, you use proper gear you win more battles which overall is less total gold sink into event since you dont gain gold for loses. |

Sigh well its true that donation gear is premium and normal 90% AP gear cannot match up with it, but it shouldn't be a problem for the rest.
Plus donation gear CPB is nearly 2 - 3 times that of even the top end gear |
| I still dont get it, with the best gear at my CL a 9 item set of Shop artifacts is still giving me 59 AP |
| You're right, I checked it myself, full mage set with best CL 12 shop arts gives me 57 AP. So they really force you to get the pay to win arts... |
| I mean its not always that the most AP artifact is the best for a certain faction, TBH most Sun artifacts are not worth below level 14 / 16 / 18 and some just don't suit you for the class |

join a clan rent arts from there 2.2k is the avg cpb ,which is less than what you get from winning a battle in the event. |
| ehh too much bother to be honest, I wanted to participate for the exp fsp ratio to get my knight up to the next FSP, but I could not join with knight to begin with, since knight is not FSL 7, might give it a try after I reach knight FSL 7 if time remains |
| You should use a faction potion please. FSL7 is definitely too low even for a level 10 player like myself. You are level 12 and therefore are expected to have FSL10 or 11 on whichever faction you use. |

In case I am not clear, you should NOT grind knight FSL in this event without using a faction skill potion. The Great Contest is not a place to build up your subclass: it is a team event where many spend 2k/battles. Unless you have full artifacts and appropriate FSL (which you currently don't), any team you are on is almost certain to lose. This will cost other people's time and gold.
You are welcome to join whatever CG duel with whatever gears or FSL at your own expense. |
