Is it just me or is the difficulty becoming ridiculous? I always wear a few event items I bought for this guild, whitch netted me a better winrate, but recently the difficulty has gone up and every pvp fight is nigh unbeatable without a 3k cpb set first try (without knowing enemy builds or positions.
Outlaws and brigands have double the army size. Just fought a DD with 450 fiends, 24 abyss demons and 40 searing horses.
Robbers are either useless or insanely stacked.
Pirates are just a cannon RNG.
Castles sometimes have more than normal armies with the protection from walls whitch makes it unfair.
2 heroes is the worst of them all, because you basically fight a 2v1 against 2 full armies. If at least one of em is a holy/darkness, you have to position perfectly or you just lose. Trying to rush down is RNG. Especially if you miss the positioning.
Some people said the difficulty is largely dependant on what other players beat the fight with, leading to stronger enemies with popular factions like FB, Wrath Tribal,.etc. So I often used to use a strong might build that is less popular against anything might - Might SB.
Well that also doesnt work anymore, just fought a knight with 15p crossbowmen, 7 angels, 14 paladins, 60 griffins and 300 guardians. Barely won with 30 ogres remaining. The enemies have nearly double the regular army size. This is not ok. What used to be a chill, somewhat grindy PVE guild has become a stress inducing hold sink, where you need to have the flexibility of every faction available to you (just buy PoS on every faction bro!) and rare arts. Either give us the ability to scout opponents like you do in events, or increase the rewards to reflrct the increased effort... | What about using some backpack item too? There are some with really big stats and bot so expensive.
Well and is WG really intended to be fairly easy nobrain guild? Maybe it was then, and is not now... But back then there was no possibility to grind WG points in events or clan defenses...
As it is allowed to use special sets, with dynamic balancing the difficulty will raise more and more making it impossible to compete at cheap arts :( | I would agree with all of these points. If the reward actually compensated tou for the effort.
I wholeheartedly support an idea of WG being the place to sink event arts into. If the reward actually compensated for it. Im sorry but spending 2500 gold on a fight that gives you 1400 is... suboptimal...
At that point it makes more sense to just abandon the guild and like you said, grind clan defenses. | I do wg every day and have done for sometime and for a number of different factions. In general I end up with like 3.5-8 or so wg points, and perhaps lose one every other day(I'm not sure exactly what the numbers work out as, but it feels around that sort of situation).
With this I use a sword of cold and shop arts so nothing particularly special. I've not really found then getting harder over time, but some factions and some enemies are more inconsistent than others. It is also teens to take a little bit too work out what build is best against any given enemy.
Where you have a faction that can work with very different builds then you are more likely to come across some battles that you cannot win with the build you have. This is more consistent if fundamentally they pretty much always have the same setup(eg with classic knight you really only vary if a defensive, offensive or balanced stats, whereas red knight has several different viable builds that are more specialist). As such for a knight it is best to be classic knight for wg.
I think the variance therefore shouldn't be the arts that you use per se, more what faction and build you use. |
