Atheros, I think you misinterpreted that part of my question or my English is just not good.) Read it like this..


my question....., they can not Recruit the additional skeletons collected from combats.

Ok let me make it easier for you.Both normal necro and unholy necro can use this talent without problem Because it doesn't increase the amount of skeletons you take INTO battle.it only increases the amount of skeletons you take FROM battle(after winning you take xx numbers of skeletons).
or even easier bot necros get skeletons at the end of the battle, but only normal necro has use for them
Can I please have some advice on talents, recruit, and stats for lvl8 necro thieving?
Ajith, see this talent as a (profitable?) way to make money through selling the extra % of skeletons collected at fights. So as to gather money faster and buy an estate faster, and then buy some more estates and then you can safely turn the game into the "monopoly" board game :P
Also does anyone happen to have some combat logs for lvl8 necro thieving?
It's not really as if you could any decent amount of gold from it ATM.
Also does anyone happen to have some combat logs for lvl8 necro thieving? i think most of the expert necro thief's are faced old caravan mechanism :P, so you need some new(post merge) lvl8 necro thief's war loges.

This is to all Necros who have mastered level 9:
1)Which Class of Necro is better at this stage?
2) Should the necro go might, darkness mage or nature mage?

I know this is a very general questions, but which of the combinations gave you guys the best result especially in PVP
I don't know if I've "mastered" CL 9 but here's what I know:

1) I think most of the times in a 1 vs 1 unholy is better. But, when I was CL 9 we didn't have them.

2) I found that might necro is better, dark necro is not recommended before CL 10 (needs at least 2 dominions).
I used to take defense talents. Take max shooters and also equip 2*Rings of doubts. This build works good against all non-defensive builds.
I usually didn't jump into action, let their troops come towards me, shoot them and send vamps and ghosts to kill the rest.
Necro's aren't really damage dealers are they?

when the large creatures came into range of shrews i think you shoulda moved the vamps so shrews could attack and return
Always allow shrews to attack.
Block them on the first go so they don't commit suicide, then move out of the way when something comes in range so the shrews help kill it.

Well, pretend those 33 swords are your higher amount of ghosts, keep them there until something is in range.
One in range, move them there to block the skeletal bowmen from being attack.
Stay put with vampires and attack WITHOUT moving.

Keep bowmen blocked and have liches on the other side so they don't die instantly.

Once they have no shots, run up to protect shrews and skeletal bowmen.

This should then become extremely easy.
@death2all - Yeah, good idea. I will use shrews to attack too at the next opportunity :)

Hmm ok.

I'll try :)

(Tile can be see in the bottom left hand corner)

put max ghosts onto tile 2:2
Put vamps onto tile 2:1
Put skeletal bowmen onto tile 1:2
put liches onto the covering tiles 1:9 2:9 1:10 2:10

wait until an enemy is in range of the shrews.
once in range of shrews, move ghosts to tile 2:3

Then defend with vampires if it is their turn.
When possible, kill "Rocs" with your skeletal bowmen (Keep in mind vampire and ghosts do not move at all. only attack if something is adjacent (Next) to it.

shoot wolf raiders or ogres with liches.
When liches have no shots left, move up towards bowmen and join in the fight and BLOCK your archers even better with the liches.

keep firing at the enemies and once out of ammo use vampires to move into tile 2:2 and keep hitting enemies. Make sure you raise them when they have low hp and in a stack of 3 or less to keep them strong.

If you don't understand fully, when you have it again, give me a PM and I shall spectate and tell you what to do in the battle.

@Dr Damage - Thanks for the detailed explanation. I understand your strategy now :)

So, two main takeaway points are -
1. Let shrews attack too.
2. Keep Liches at the opposite end to allow them to keep shooting enemies and not get blocked.
