Why should the TG number of enemy troops be constant ? It *could* be a varying factor. Sometimes you catch a small caravan, sometimes a big one.
After all, Survilurg difficulty used to change on a weekly, if not hourly, basis. And noone complained.
I'm nauseous at the number of troops on the opposing side in Facility Defense Battles. Now with the new AI, which acts a lot more like a human player, their troop count is still outrageously high.

The enemy always strikes first, no matter how high a player's Initiative is and the enemy has been given, not only huge increases in the number of troops, but special abilities too ... like enhanced SPEED ... for instance.

Might as well make it a million troops with 20 speed in the enemy's armies, as the opposing troops are already enormous. Totally insane!

If the new AI is supposed to be like a human player, then they should have the same number and types of troops as a human player too. NO SPECIAL ABILITIES! This has become thoroughly disgusting!

Thanks devs. and admins. for RUINING a once wonderful game. Just see if I ever buy another Diamond from this game! :(
The only thing that changed about speed is that now the talent "Innate swiftness" works for the enemy. Before they also had that talent, but they didn't get the extra speed.

The problem is that in the Talent Wheel of a human player's Might Wizard, there is NO "Innate Swiftness" Talent! So how come in the Facility Defense Battles does a Might Wizard get the Innate Swiftness talent when it is not available to human players?

Sorry to disagree with you Lord Fosgeen, but giving Factions and Classes arbitrary Talents and Abilities is so wrong and unfair. If the AI is supposed to act and be like human players, then they should also be limited to the same troop counts and the same Talents and the same amount of Mana, Attack and Defense numbers as human players.

I have also noticed that my troops' special abilities do NOT trigger as often as they used to ... specifically, in my case, Luck and Morale. The developers have tweaked these battles into a less than 50% win.

I have further noticed that I get a lot less Experience Points, even when I win, and markedly lower if my team loses. These Defense Battles are no longer efficient, fun or cost effective to play.

If I'm spending thousands and thousands of gold for Enchanted Artifacts, I at least expect a fair fight. Not some sadistic developer's sense of manipulation of all the Talents, Parameters, Mana and Troop Counts to force us to lose more than half of the battles, and spend more and more gold to participate in these battles. Therefore, I will only rarely participate in these battles from now on.

It would take me quite a while to find that exact battle liuker, but one more detail that I forgot to mention in my post ... if the Might Wiz got Innate Swiftness, then why did his troops get +2 Speed? Innate Swiftness only gave +1 Speed.

This happened with an Elf Hero too where his troops all got +2 Speed instead of only +1. Suddenly his Trees were moving at the sped of 8. This is blatantly UNFAIR. How can anyone prepare a strategy when the AI cheats so outrageously?

I doubt they had innate swiftness. It is very normal for a might wiz to have +2 speed mini-arts. Such as in this battle you played; https://www.lordswm.com/war.php?warid=672558418&lt=1

I would be very interested if you found those battles for us to look at.

Perhaps your battle strategy ought to be refined a bit as well. It's easy to blame the difficult AI, but in that last Survilurg battle you played you charged in with a stack of 100 efks to kill 5 horses and left them at the mercy of a stack of cerberus and a stack of devils which slaughtered them. In the battle I posted above, you moved your efk forward, rather than waiting for gargs to move or genies to hit your trees and the genies killed a whole stack. Taking all the attacking meat to do one hit and then left to die seems to be an awful waste.

On the bright side, after the Alec battles, the admins may have more data to make new decisions about what to do with the AI :)
Whatever you say Corey. I have literally dozens and dozens of Survilurg Battles listed in my Combat Log, even in the last two months, and I don't have the time or inclination to look through all of them to find the two battles that I mentioned in my previous posts.

But even if the Might Wiz had a +2 Artifact on his Genies, it still doesn't account for the Elf Battle where his troops all had +2 Speed ... Innate Swiftness only gives +1 Speed, and Elves don't have special Troop Artifacts. So what excuse can there be for that little bit of AI cheating?

My solution is to no longer participate in so many of these Facility Defense Battles ... especially now since the Experience Point Bonus has also been decreased.

I'm trying to reach Level 15 so I can get my Ironroots; and since these Defense Battles FORMERLY gave an excellent Experience Point Bonus, even when my team lost, I played as many as possible to get the nice Experience Point Bonus (and the FSP Bonus too).

Lately though, if my team loses, I get a measly 5,000 or 6,000 Experience, when before, even if my side lost, I still received a very nice Experience Point total (9,000 to 10,000).

So like I said, it's no longer feasible or fun to play these Facility Defense Battles when Enchanted Artifacts are so expensive, the AI cheats so blatantly and the rewards are so pathetic.
After reading all this I am eager to know ,are there any complaints as to the new AI (smartness or numbers) on russian forums?

might wiz troops always have +2 speed mini art :P and it is effective from beginning of Survilurg battle

but talent Innate swiftness (+1 speed) was using AI before but not active, now it is active.

about AI elf troops +2 speed ( i seen it one battle) efk with 8 speed and tree and uni 9 speed green drak with 10 speed, i just thought AI elf waring "warrior elf set" :P or simply a "thief set"... no idea if it is a bug or not

for Poison Ivy:
Doesn't seem to be warrior elf set - As that gives +2 shots to the shooters (from the bow) and that is not displayed. Doesn't seem to be thief set either as the hero does not appear to have the +10% init to hero bonus.
The ring is useless anyway,10k repair cost for such low stats no tnx
