Looks like I registered 6 years ago. I think that, for the first time, I am enclined to think that I may have to think for more than a second to beat the AI. It took a long time, but that's good to see that the AI doesn't feel an urge to always move as far as it can to "cleverly" let me get the first hit, even with lame golems. Looking forward to the end result.

Can anyone tell me why AI waited with GMB?

What an interesting match of hide-and-seek, I shudder to think if the opponents were 20% stronger

How do they then create AI players in QTs?


Do not confuse QTs with PVE, QT is EvE. All are AI control.

On the one hand I like the new improvement in the defence's but then again in double ambushes they get really insane hard and SUPERB smart.
Ignoring 8 paladins, 25 griffins so they can start hitting invoker (whuuut?).

Dwarf gets hammered really fast here, still getting used to that!

there were some other topic about unit abilities frequency to happen.

no one talks about how AI still cheats about 1st round initiative calculations.

above link arcanide posted, he uses SoM, yet sharpshooters still beat Invokers ini and kill them b4 give a chance to play.

think its about time to take a break from some aspects of this game and let dear admins clean the mess they made with new update.

post 190, arca have pathetic initiative according to his CL. things are changed, 4 luck is good, but try remove poor luck amulet to somthing which gives +5-6% ini

I think you should use more ini. I'm lvl 15 and use 15% ini with 32AP in TG. It worked before the AI change and it seems to work just fine now.

that was i said thinks are changed... elf not use full ap(at least me ..32-35 ap is enough) use pendant which gives nice initiative boost and armors which gives def and initiative

you still want to use your steel set and luck pendant..sorry now way :) crying won't change
I have thieved like this for ages and it always worked just fine. 11% ini should be MORE then enough for double ambushes.
I don't mind the ini but more the fact that they ignore Berserkers/xbow and shoot invokerd/bears as first target. In 10 Ambushes I 7 times lost or my invokers or my bears in the first move.
As you can see in our double ambushes (Selfist and I) Ai teams up to kill dwarfs major attack forces ignoring Knights Paladins/Angels/griffins/xbow. While all of those are in range of bowmen they still prefer the further away target my Magmas (for reall??).
again i said elf way..strike first always make sure you strike first.
if you really want luck amulet use upg one at least (horseshoe one)

dwarf win ambush if invoker/bean hit first..so no other way other than increasing initiative.
what admin do is they remove dwarf advantage of being in mini ap winning gainst AI.

I know mate, but the more I think about it the more sense it makes. Invokers/bears with hydra rune are deadly in their first turn. We sometimes knew we won a fight just after these 2 moves ;)
So it makes sense that a smart AI will focus these 2 units first.

So get more ini to make sure invokers and bears can use hydra rune before they die ;)
