AuthorPost Tournament Comments
for Jedi-Knight:

Hi, I don't understand here. I have a friend who shared or had 4 accounts
and did some transfer between, most of them are buying/selling withing market price and smithing.
I saw he got only one waring then had all his 4 (or 3) accounts blocked forever.
So is there different rules for different players?
to 57
I observed of tournament.
Also saw that the members DA cooperated is not a secret.
Because everyone were compelled so to play.
---
But you are proud of style of the game and want general respect.
It is children's naivety
oh boy, I wonder if DA are the first ones who did a great example of cooperation, another one would be pushing someone to be "the chosen one"
Seriously, I have poped up on so many blacklists these days that I dont need any respect. But talking about honor, bravery, etc. and pushing "the chosen one" is something I dont like about your way of playing this tournament. You might disagree with me, but I dont know about any EW who was pushed this way up.

There were sad things done in this tournament. On many levels.
XD

A simple "Hey sorry guys, maybe it was not right what we did" would have been really enough, don't you think Visao?

"Well, we screwed up a tournament, spoiled other peoples fun, but let's sing Happy Happy Joy Joy now, ok? Let's stay friends, yes? Oh, and don't step in our way or we get really, really angry!"

Awesome!
No need to be sorry here... congratulations are welcomed here xD
Players who did take part did have fun.
Nutella you could try it at least, it was not as spooky as it seemed to be
I didn't join for several reasons, staged battles wasn't even a secondary.

I can imagine that "fun", some people told me about that "fun" and I visited some of that "fun" battles. ^^
where might be quite a diferent expirience for those people did well and for those who did not as well ;) for those who managed to do at least 10+ battles or so where was at least one, which he or she is not happy about.

This tourney ecpecially can not be compared to ordinary 3x3 group battles as there is more tension, less chances to be a winner for average player. Some players left tourney after being first out, simply by attacking multiple players and being slaughter by all of them at the same time.
Topic moved from "General game forum" to "Tournaments".

It's really all about wining and whining

That was patently obvious from the behavior of EW. They wanted to win at any cost, and then whined about the community backlash they received in response to their methods.

Judging others and criticising is easy

Indeed it is in this case. The actions EW were clearly maligned by a very large portion of the community and criticism came immediately and justifiably.

some people do not like being treated that way or simply "can't lose"

Funny words coming from a clan that took such extraordinary measures to avoid losing at all costs. Some self-reflection may be in order...

you could do better if managed complete the tourney, as opposed to reading comments from other frustrated guys and quiting

I actually did complete the tournament and finished in the top 10, which I am proud of. I did it honorably and without pre-arranging combat teams. Please feel free to review my combats.

It's not about EW here

Oh but it is... your illustrious leader made it so when he created this thread. He opened the door, we all merely flooded into the discussion.
Man, internet is serious business, huh?

No need to be sorry here... congratulations are welcomed here xD

Congrats to you! Your clan completely went against the point of a blindfold match (not knowing who you're playing with, teaming up on players for the whole game) for ~20 battles, and WON the tournament! EW wins! Yay!

Is that what you're looking for? A virtual ego stroke? This is a game, people. And while I understand that it is more than "just a game" for many people, you should be playing for fun, not to be the UBER CHAMPION!!1!one!

Anyway, congrats to EW for making the tournament enjoyable for many, but more importantly, "WINNING"!
:) looks like if there will be a clan wars then will be like ALL v EW :D
There were sad things done in this tournament. On many levels

i agree, i took part in it in my own way. maybe i was wrong, maybe i wasn't. it DIDN'T feel good to call people rats, although they deserve far worse names than that. what they certainly don't deserve is respect.

this character "Korzika" is a child of 1st blindfold tourney. it is created during the tourney in order to be involved in it. i am the greatest fan of blindfold battle and i will never forgive Visao, Kusika and Empire for ruining the 2nd blindfold. and please don't blather about democracy, we know who has access to "Evict" button.

tourney was quite a challenge, the strongest won, others... well the others read this topic and making comments :) end of story :)

yes, E.g. samlonewolf has shown some amazing tactics and improved this game incredibly :D
:) looks like if there will be a clan wars then will be like ALL v EW :D
Is this a problem? I mean, that's the tactic you guys used in the tourney... Teams of EW players fighting against the rest of the participants...

13 u were evicted by me for posting pure nonsense if u want back better explain it to me in pm. Agreeing with antos and u dont even know what he ment by that post...

for marked_one:

So you didn't like his comment and therefore evicted him, huh? Man, what will the world think about people in CZ and SK? I am not part of this, I am leaving CZ-SK clan right now.
Well, I really don't know...

I wanted to be in an honest war clan...

I beg the pardon of all those, who have suffered from EW-s 'cheating', although I wasn't involved in it.

However, I don't think its righteous to disrespect all the EW members. I know, that here are many-many honest players, who played fairly. What should we do?

I'm curious about both EW, and non-EW members' point of view. Should we:
- quit from the clan, and join another? would anyone grant us welcome?
- make a new clan, like Honest Warriors? Or such?

or any ideas...

I really don't feel comfortable about what's happening now :S
speaking for all lvl ß players: really nice sportsmanship, there was no cheatin what so ever in the tournament on lvl 9....at least not in my 20 matches, and the scores also suggest that there was no teaming up before battles or at least only at a very small amount...
other levels somehow are very dominated by ew..but i dont know what happened if they stage fights or what but i believe the winner in lvl 9 who is also an ew memeber won by playing good...
and dont forget, ppl who play unfair are like children. they are only happy if they win, no matter how..so dont be angry, some time they will grow up;-)
I can hardly speak for anyone except myself, but my focus is on those in EW/DA who committed the staging, and the leadership that allowed it to occur or condoned it.

I feel you have several options:

-Let your leader know how you feel and ask that the clan change it's stance
-Ask your leader to deal with the people who staged combats

More extreme:
-Leave the clan and either join another that aligns more closely with your beliefs, or form your own as suggested.

I do not speak for WGW, only myself, but personally I'd consider it a positive character trait if someone left because they disagreed and would welcome them with open arms. But again, that's just me.
So you didn't like his comment and therefore evicted him, huh? Man, what will the world think about people in CZ and SK? I am not part of this, I am leaving CZ-SK clan right now.

Huh, we kids are funny. And slightly off-topic too. :-)

12-10-09 23:43: jrf has left the clan.
12-10-09 20:48: Markussk has joined the clan.
12-10-09 20:43: marked_one has invited Markussk into the clan.
12-10-09 18:54: marked_one has evicted Markussk from the clan.
Agreed ressurecta. We met a few times during the tourny and I saw very little staging at all at Lvl9. I'd also agree that the Lvl9 EW winner seemed to have won fair and square with little, if any, staging.

Congrats on your great tourny finish, btw!
