"Lords fight in battle field. Politicians fight in forum".
You pick the one which suit you better
Not true by most historical accounts. Lords were members of medieval aristocracy and thus were nobility. As such, they were expected to be practiced in mediation of disputes, social graces, local and national politics, etc. A good high level view of the daily life of medieval lords can be found below:

for marked_one:
Well that the first example that came thru my mind, it was a bit too strong in my opinion after rereading, but we are yet to edit our own post ! so...:D |

I don't think people think your evil, your clan just seem kind of childlish, first figthing without any honor, and the crying about not being respected. Not much elite over you guys, you need to team up on people to win. |
Evicting innocent members
Seriously, what do you know about CZ&SK and marked_one? Have you been there? Do you know many players there? Dictatorship in CZ&SK, you must be kidding me.. |
We expect members to work together as part of a unit and to show good sportsmanship.
Don't eat your words. None of the things you have done, kicking members for no apparant reason, leader had multiple rule violations, bad sportsmanship in tournament, and now asking for lost respect in GGF come to an agreement with what came out from your mouth(or fingers). |
I mostly agree with Khellendros. I do not feel that the rank and file members of EW are evil, far from it. Several seem to be quite nice and well spoken. I do however have serious issues with the leadership of EW and DA condoning, if not outright endorsing, the behavior we all witnessed during the tournament.
I don't feel that EW did it because they could not win otherwise, I feel they did it to guarantee a win. They took the cheap, easy way out, the path of least resistance... much as administration did with removing the MC limitation early on in the tournament.
Note that my issue is with the actions, or lack thereof, of the leadship of EW and DA, not with the leaders personally. Were they to take a stand against the staging that occurred within their clans and evict those responsible, they could probably regain a lot of the goodwill that has been lost and respect for their clans would probably recover significantly. |
What is being tested here?
a tool in hijacking the GGF
The recruiting methodology
nothing rich in content

Just a friendly warning, try and stay ON topic please. Let's not get personal and all that. And if you need to say something to a specific player, PM them. :) |
tourney was quite a challenge, the strongest won, others... well the others read this topic and making comments :) end of story :) |
_force_ I don't understand? if you haven't won a tournement then your opinon is automaticely cosindered being a bad loser?
This was a INDIVIDUAL tournemnet, and some people spoiled that for others (not me I was lvl 8, i did't see any signs of people who was afraid of a fair fight)
I am looking forward to the dwarf event, this is the only type of event where we should fight as a group. |
43 every is overeacting it seems not only me and u. We explained it among us in PMs case of overeacting is closed. Dictatorship is too tiresome u have to hide from potential enemies every day or have tons of bodyguards around u ^^ . |
tourney was quite a challenge, the strongest won
LOL! What was the challenge exactly? Finding enough players online at once to develop an overshelming majority and crush the 2 or 3 non-EW players? Trying to get enough people on Skype simultaneously? Deciding internally beforehand which EW member would win any given combat?
Seriously... how hard could it have been? If it was legitimately any challenge whatsoever to beat unteamed opponents when EW was teamed up and communicating, then the strongest most definitely did not win. Your statement defies logic. |

Yes. Poorly that in our small world - strongest have such qualities:
Weakness, cowardice and hostility....
All wanted to see in tournament: on the present of the strong, tactically competent, brave lords |
end of story :)
The history on it was not finished,
She only began )))) |
Deciding internally beforehand which EW member would win any given combat? This actually didnt happen as far as I know.
Weakness, cowardice and hostility....
You might want to explain this a little more. When DA is a synonym for bravery to you.. What particular action made you think that EW members have these above mentioned qualities? |
#57
Point taken. I was being sarcastic and if EW did not take part in that particular aspect of the offensive staging, then my humblest apologies are offered. |
Among other things that had happened this did not as far as I know. maybe just because there was no one who would stand "hey, stage me, I want to win this, guys work for me during this tournament"..I think he/she wouldnt find the steady ground there. :-) |
What was the challenge exactly? Finding enough players online at once to develop an overshelming majority and crush the 2 or 3 non-EW players? Trying to get enough people on Skype simultaneously? Deciding internally beforehand which EW member would win any given combat? There are all assumptions and whining, starting from hysteria when some people left clan to be able fo any battles AT ALL, when others started making assumtions the same way you doing it now, accusing honours players every time it's possible... Judging others and criticising is easy. Most players could do better, it's all about time management lol.
The tourney was about making allies and backstabing each other, some people do not like being treated that way or simply "can't lose" - getting too emotional, you could do better if managed complete the tourney, as opposed to reading comments from other frustrated guys and quiting.
It's not about EW here, there could 5 necros on a battlefield going for an innocent barb for some reason, there would be even more frustration.
It's really all about wining and whining |
