| I help several players hunt, and after the hunt, they transfer half the gold from hunt to me. Is it custom to do so? I mean, I didn't ask for it. Should I also give half the gold to the player who helps me hunt? |

It's not the norm from my experience.
I thought it was when I first started playing.
But by level 4 I realised I was paying 50% gold for every hunt I assisted, but only got a 50% payment from about 5% of hunts I helped with.
I added to my profile now that I do not pay for hunter help.
Experience and the chance to loot artifacts is more than enough incentive for people to help each other. |

helping others in hunt is a great way to increase your skill points without gaining experience points. That is why i help as much as i can. I never ask any gold cause skill points are a sufficient reward. |
Not really.
If you help, you get 0 XP, 0.1 skill point, and a chance to get a hunter's art... But since your army is damaged in the process (there's no point calling for help if there is no risk) you delay your next hunt too - especially if you used magic.
I always pay 50% gold when I ask for help and I strongly suggest everyone to do the same. Don't be greedy.
I wasn't bothered not to get anything when helping, but now at level 6, where hunting is so hard you can barely make it even with help, I find normal to receive a token gold amount when I support a fellow hunter. A question of etiquette. |

And it's not 0.1, but 0.25 skill points.
Helping is the only way to increase skill points without gaining XP points, that's why i think it's so great.

| well i dont expect the 50% nor do i do it. however i do find it offensive if someone adds me to their blacklist just because of my views. those kind of people should just add themselves to the blacklist just because they are greedy for the GOLD XD |
in order descending order, i will pay only if:
1. it is worth
2. he get less skill point than me
3. he get no artifacts

If u wear artifact, its durability is your cost.
when you fight you get some gold to buy a new one.
when you help you get nothing and your artifact is - 1 .
However, this is just another point of view.
I agree with the exp is enough. and
I never asked for some gold when i help. But i'm glad if someone give me some.
I still never ask for help.
But in the future i may be, and i will GIVE to the one who deserve. |
to confirm why not when u all help in a hunt just ask wheather the heroes is sharing the gold or not.
this sharing come about when at the particular time not many player are at the same top level ex now at lvl 8 or 9 soon. they share most of the time cause they know each other and play alot together most of the time. |

what if he doesnt want to share? you gonna afk all the way? or just wait or defend?
if you join the hunt assist, you suppose to help. if you dont wanna help, dont join the assist, let other like me who doesnt care the gold to join. all i want is skill point. artifact and gold were just a bonus :) |
you can always just kill as many enemy as possible and dont help to cover him if he say he is not sharing. dont afk cause you will loose all hp and get-2 luck. just you hit yours and he hit his.
especially if he is elf you are sure the creature are going to kill all his troop first if he die then he wont get any exp also and you will get more then 0.25 skill point that way. |
What experience are you speaking about?
If you help, you get:
ZERO experience point
0.1 Hunter's Guild skill point
0 to 0.25 Faction skill point.
It's weak on all accounts. |
IMO it's not so weak. As i said before, it's the best method to gain skill points without increasing XP (another one is to die intentionnally in hunts, but for me it's not a solution you can be proud of ^^)
And by the way, i don't share gold, but i also never ask for. And i help MUCH more often than i ask for help, so i think my own balance is ok. |
You can always do what I have started doing.
After a battle I check my helpers transfer logs. If they have paid people for assistance in the past then I give them 50%.
