| This might not even be game related problem. It is possible, that there is some problem with routing to the game server from Europe and America. Therefore russian players aren't even aware that there's something wrong, since the game works fine for them. |

The thing is - low populated services are very rarely targeted by such attacks. At best a 1000 users here would be affected by such attack. That number is multiplied by 10 to 15 on .ru. So it's obvioues that whoever stands behind those attacks wants to harm the service as bad as possible.
Unfortunately as every game expands, becomes more successful and the community grows larger, there'll always be some rotten apples, who for whatever reason want to do some damage and prevent others having fun. And that is both sad and upsetting. |

whoever stands behind those attacks wants to harm the service as bad as possible.
I think those "DDos attacks" are merely just script users and dataminers. The only real difference between ru and here is 100x the spammers. Since it's obvious that no filtering technology is being used, a heavy load user appears as a DDos attack :D |
