New Dark tournament
Nearly two months have passed since the gates closed on the Dark Arena and the third Dark Tournament ended. And nobody, except the creators of the Arena and several Archmage Solar Cities, knew what is now happening on the sands of this huge field, hidden from view by its high walls.
Sometimes, at night, passer-bys have heard mysterious noises and crashes inside the walls of the Arena. And one has even publicly stated that he saw flashes and lights inside. Rumours have turned into murmurs, and the murmurs has generated an deep unknown fear and childlike curiosity in even the most indifferent resident of the capital, not to mention the more superstitious people of the countryside.
Empire Hereby announces the new Fourth Dark Tournament where the arena will now be infused with magic! Externally, the arena does not change, but insde the arena, soldiers become eager to fight and can not stand still for long without attacking. If a hero does not lead his troops into battle, his army would go into battle themselves, ignoring his orders!
The tournament will begin on Sunday, and you do not want to lose control of your army then!
There has been a rules change for winners' prizes of the Dark Tournament:
1) At every tournament Empire prepares starter prize and promotional funds.
2) The prize fund may consist of gold and diamonds. Honourable mention may consist only of gold.
3) 20% of entrance fees are added to the prize fund, 80% are added to the incentive.
4) The prize fund is divided in the ratio of 50%, 30% and 20% - these are prizes for the top three players in the tournament.
5) The incentive will be divided equally among the rest of the top 10% better results at this level.
Technical description of the rules of conduct at the new arena:
If a hero and his troops does not attack nor use magic for a long time, there is a chance that the unit will be subject to self-control and not follow the order of the Hero. To reduce the likelihood of self-control or to regain control, should it be lost, the Hero and his troops should enter into battle with one of the enemies. |

does this mean your stacks would randomly move or hit someone if you timed out 5 turns consecutively? |

for Straws:
From playing in the dark tourny. It seems to only take control after 5 turns of not attacking (clicking wait, defend or moving without attacking)
AFKs still are happening.
But a stack of gargs that were continually running away from my minos suddenly closed in on my minos and died on the retal after a while

A couple questions. I am newish to .ru myself
1) How does one join this dark tournament? Is there a minimum level?
2) I just fought a bear like creature and was amazed and wondered if a certain faction gets them as units or if they are unplayable such as the plains wolves here |
1) Minimum Level 3. Go to Tournaments Page. Tournaments run every half hour. so you can only enter every :00 and :30. Pay the entrance Fee if it's your first time entering that tournament.
At levels 3 and 14, you can play a max of 15 rounds.
The rest, you can play a max of 20 rounds.
2) The bear creature is a neutral creature. Bear riders are Dwarf faction, a currently unplayable faction. |
